I’ve got a level 26-27 champion parked in Ost Guruth too, should put her in Qt3 and tag along (assuming I don’t get sucked into the Qt3 EQ2 group <g>).

I have a Hunter still hanging out on the Barrow-Downs. I kinda put him on hold when I picked up ME2, but i will try to show up next monday night.
I’m having and electricity problem that the utility company is supposed to come out and fix this afternoon. If they don’t get it fixed in time, I will miss the start or all of our Monday session tonight. In other words, I’ll be sitting in the dark at home killing nothing.
Have fun,

Does anyone play lower level characters Monday nights? Still waiting for our games to arrive from Newegg but we’re going to try it as soon as the package makes it.
I have a level 12 character who is not in the QT3 kinship, though I can get her an invite if I start playing her regularly. I play with the EST Moria group on Mondays and wouldn’t be able to play any other sessions on that day. If there is enough interest from people just starting out, maybe some of our beginning characters could pick a different time to group together? I am still enjoying Lotro and would like playing more than the 3 hours on Monday.

Well, I got my power problems fixed, but I discovered an update was needed when I just tried to log on. I will join the Monday nighters when I finish patching!
Kal
In the same boat as Kal; didn’t expect a major content patch today. Logging in as soon as updating is complete.
When you do get logged in you need to respend the points on your legendary items; they reset them all for some reason.
See you in a few.

because they fixed legacy point costs for some legacies, and to be fair, reset all LI’s so you can take advantage of this. it’s a bonus, not a bug.
if you don’t have an affected legacy, it’s a free reset of points, just like the in-game scrolls.
FYI… looks like the update is Vol III. I’ll be logging in tonight to tool around a bit.
Well, having been MMO’less for the past couple months I found myself getting that itch again. Reading that MMO-PvP thread got me taking a look at LoTRO since I’m not a PvP guy overall. So I downloaded the game and fired up the 10 day free trial.
First impression was that you could really tell that its by the same people who make DDO. I was kind of put off, figuring that it should really be more polished for a game I’d need to pay the monthly fee for. So I took my Dwarf Guardian out into the tutorial area and got down to it.
Aaaand 6 hours later I was level 11, had arrived at the third town and was working on a tradeskill to boot. Wow did I get sucked in. I’m really digging the setting and the Dwarf area starting stories. The skills are starting to click and I really like the skills that proc off other skills which proc off a dodge or parry, its great fun to see that first icon light up then just demolish what you’re fighting as you run down the line.
I can tell its going to take me some time to figure out all the sub-systems, but I like that there is a number of ways to customize your character. Plus it has player housing, which is always something I always enjoy.
Going out to dinner tonight for my son’s birthday, and he just happens to want to go to Gamestop, think I may be looking for something for myself too.
SInce the last update all of Vol 1 has been made soloable, so I’ve taken my 65 LM back to do all those books I was unable to do before due to lack of fellowships, time constraints, etc. Having a great time even though a level 65 can breeze through most of the fighting now. Some things I puzzled over are becoming clearer now, such as who Sara Oakheart, the woman I consistently failed to rescue in the ruins of Fornost, and who shows up here and there throughout Middle Earth, really is, and her part in the overall story.

Did you find out why she has such a deathwish?

It turns out I totally lied about this. I was frustrated by the fact that Nimrodel seemed to be nearly abandoned, and made that Hunter on Landroval, which is comparatively more crowded.
I have a low level character I’ve started to play with on days other than Monday. I was going to try out another kin with her since QT3 didn’t seem to have much activity except for the EST Monday group. However, when searching for QT3ers online in the social panel I have recently seen several other low level kin characters (Banemark, Icewarn, and a couple of other names I can’t remember). I don’t know if the new characters I’ve seen are some of the folks who said in recent posts that they were going to begin playing, or whether these are alts of kin members who have been around. Whatever the case, if anyone is interested in grouping up on Tue-Sat drop a post and I will get my new character an invite to the QT3 kin.

How do I join the Qt3 kinship? We’re planning on playing a bit tonight…I think we’re both level 10 elves.

I will likely be on with Russmon or Malibu sometime this evening, probably between 8-10 EDT. Russmon can invite to the kin. If anyone is awaiting an invite, you can let me know your character name ahead of time here in the forum and I will add you to my friend list so I know when you are on. I’ve been thinking of adding an alt or two more to the kin just so people won’t feel like there’s nobody home. I probably play about 5 nights a week, just not always with a kin-tagged character.
Sort of. :) You’ll have to do the books if you want to know the details.
If you see Valtheria or Peixia online /tell them if you want a kin invite. I’ve been on lately every day, usually early evening Eastern time.

Ok sounds good - I’ll check tonight around 7ish PST. My character’s name is Lehtinen.
