I’ve been on a bit too during the day recently as Banzgar, a leftover from the first weeks of the laid back club, when it turned out that I didn’t even have enough time to keep up with a laid back group. Now that I’m in medical school and have a month old baby, I seem to have more time. Funny how that worked out.

Both Banemark and Icewarn are mine, but any other toons are not (excluding Drakmori, who is L38). Not sure how many other people are playing regularly, as I tend to only see 1-2 others on. I play at Australian times, so I am offset often. Happy to work together when we are both on!
Drakmori also is an officer and can invite to the kin, should anybody still be looking for an invite.

The Qt3 kinship is on Nimrodel. My current character’s a 16th lvl human warden while my SO plays a human minstrel. I haven’t joined with this character yet as she isn’t on the forum and I believe the kinship’s for forum posters only. Feel free to friend me though as we just started too. Char name is Falmaran and I think hers is Phaedelle.
We’ve been poking around Bree for a couple days and finally feel like we’re making some progress in the game after the really early stuff.

I’m playing on Landroval, the “unofficial RP” server. It’s significantly more populated than Nimrodel, and so is worth checking out (I almost gave up during my trial period because Nimrodel seemed so empty it was depressing).
Character name: Tindros.
I’m also on Landroval, been playing for a few weeks. Well, I played for a couple weeks, then parked my dude at 35 while waiting for my buddy to catch up, so I haven’t been on in a while. Anyway, my dude’s name is Branvald.
My character who isn’t in the QT3 kin is named Kemmi. She is level 19 which is close enough to Banemark and Icewarn for enjoyable grouping. If we ever see each other on again we can give it a shot!

Rowe… we are not, to my awareness, stringently exclusive about joining the Kin. I don’t see any problem at all with you both joining if you want too! If you see Drakmori on just say hi and I will invite you. The only thing you need to know is that we only have a few people on at any one time, so if you want a large active Kin then we may not suit you. But you are both very welcome in if you want.

I’ll see if I can’t get my Nimrodel captain on over there. My main’s on Landroval but I’m not playing much LoTRO these days.
Interesting but not surprising that in the long run it’s roleplayers who pack servers for games based on strong IPs. Landroval in LoTRO and Starsider in SWG. Both are the unofficial RP servers and always have been.
Turbine is again offering free play for those with expired subscriptions. Old accounts are supposed to be automatically reactivated March 25-29.

Excellent. I’m on a break from WoW for a while, so I’ll be logging on.
I have resumed playing my old account under the free play and am considering renewing for the $9.99 for 30 days PAX special being advertised. Can anyone confirm whether that is only for new accounts? When I try and renew my account my only options are by the month ($15 per) or by 3 months ($30 for 3) and nowhere does it say that if I renew I’ll get the Siege of Mirkwood Expansion thrown in. Is it a given that, if I renew, I’ll be entitled to SoM expansion because when I started playing my old account on the free week it was pretty explicit that only people with the expansion unlocked would be able to access those areas.
