I’ve entered tomb 1. It takes a minute for my eyes to adjust to the darkness (-5 to score) but I’m a daring son-of-a-gun and I’m rushing you chumps! (And chump-ette) Where’s prolix at?! Give me that leg staff!
I whiz past Nightgaunt. [you can jump to prolix’s defense but I’ll remove the debuff because rushing in caught you off gaurd]

Nightgaunt did beat me, I was letting him report it cuz he won.
Oops, sorry. Yes, I beat clyve earlier. I thought we moved along on that assumption.
I want to stop that no-good rascal clyve, but I’ll give a little bit of time to the others before sending the challenge.
After his battle in Tomb 2, Nightgaunt discovers…

A rogue enters the tombs, intent on claiming the amulet! The adventurers are caught off guard, evidently too busy buttering their scones to realize that the exit was clear. Perhaps one or more of them jealously wished to share in the amulet’s value?
The rogue has 3 hit points and carries no items. He rushes at prolix. Will the other adventurers step in the way?

Way to go Nightgaunt, taking one for the team! Meanwhile, I will munch on some biscuits and occasionally take potshots at the competitors.
Tomb 3 is still acting quite strange. Some crumbs fall from the biscuits as the tomb’s floor trembles…
Given my severe lack of points halfway into the game, better get your playing-lots-of-cards-for-a-lot-of-points shoes on, prolix!

As entertaining as the fisticuffs are, I will take my leave and investigate the source of the trembling tomb shenanigans.
Prolix ventures back to tomb 3 and discovers that the floor has heaved and cracked. One crack in particular looks large enough to crawl into. But from it issues a foul stench. Is it a danger or something long dead?
Nightgaunt defeats clyve in a squeaker!
