Hopefully this hasn’t been answered but what is with like 3 episodes in 2 days- I was trying to figure out which is the new ep, and which is the “review” ep but that still leaves a third ep listed as a 2008 one.
I am recording all three but anyone know what each of them are?
I think the new one is the only one airing on Thursday. If there’s two on Thursday, it’ll be the latter.
I know that Wednesday they’re replaying the 2 hour season finale, which could constitute 2 of the 3 eps you’re seeing.

This thread lives again!
I’m glad everyone will now come crawling back to this thread… and the show.
Hurray season 4!
It’s still too long, and it’s impossible to scan.
Fresh thread brings hope and happiness.
I’m generally a fan of the year by year show threads over these monsters.
Also, it’s way too meta.

I love you, real Lost thread!
Okay. I’m giving in to the Zeitgeist, and letting this (now less broken) thread another chance.
I watched the season finale’ episode again last night.
Wow it was good. Finally Hurley pays off.
Also: “I didn’t believe him.”
I also think the last two eps of Season three are really even better if you know about the flash-forwards. Jack comes off as way more tragic, and all the “how did he get here” questions start fomenting in your brain.
And of course there’s the whole “Why don’t you see if my father is drunk?” line. If that’s a red herring I’ll be very unhappy.
Still a little annoyed that after all that set-up Charley basically bolts himself into the drowning chamber.

Lost Fans, Lost Season 3 on Blu-ray is Amazon’s Deal of the Day for only $40!
Two hours for real Thursday, like they are advertising? Or just a clip show plus one hour?

I heard recap than 1hr episode.
Wed they’re having a catch up show I believe.
Long live the long thread!
I think that many of the paradoxes invoked by Jack during the flash forward are a result of time travel and that when he says that “we have to go back!”, in time is what he refers to.

Wow, under the new qt3 this thread no longer breaks hscroll.
There is no no reason not to post in this, the official Lost thread!
Woops, beat to the punch
Not to mention that whoops is spelled with an ‘h’.
Wow. Qt3 is Faster, stronger ,and handles long threads better!. Long Live the Official Lost thread. If I could delete my post out of the other thread I would just to help let it die.
Back on topic. Here is my post from the other thread:
I am very much looking forward to the new season, and hoping they keep up the “cool” factor the seasons 3 finale had.
Though we were sad to see had ABC moved Lost to Thurs. It has been a stable Wed. night show for us and not only has it moved nights but is now up against CSI. Bah.
At least, for the short term, the writer’s strike works in our favor, since CBS is out of new CSI episodes.
Oh. My. God.
These subtitle tips are a brand new level of cheesiness.

Thursdays better for me…band practice is wed.
So what was the deal with the finale repeat last night with added subtitles? I missed it. Were the subtitle commentaries anything eye-opening? Any secrets revealed?
Tonight’s 8pm episode is a recap, correct? I have my younger son’s school open house, so I’m going to miss the 8-9 hour.

no. they were pretty much a distraction and a waste. it seemed like they were trying to add context to what was going on for folks who had never watched the series/were long removed.
and yes, first hour is the clips show afaik.
I watched the finale again (my second viewing) last night, it was just as great (even better, as somoene else pointed out, knowing that Jack was in the future during the “flash forwards”) as the first time.
However, I keep wondering, why did Charlie have to die? I think if he hadn’t heard about the “prophecy” spoken by Desmond, his survival instinct would have kicked in and he’d have run OUTSIDE the room and shut the door, then pulled Desmond to the “pond” and they could have just jumped in and floated to the surface. Heck, if they can swim DOWN to this thing floating back up with out equipment should be a breeze, right?
I know why they killed the character off, his death was impactful and still cool (with the pen note on his hand) but I think they should have done something to make his shutting himself inside the room make more sense. Is it just me?
