BTW, there apparently aren’t supposed to be any more flashforwards for the rest of this half of the season (through episode 7 I think).

I heard Eric too. Had to rewind and listen again because I had no idea why “Eric” was so dramatic. The second time I did pick up “Aaron”.

Count me in for an “Eric” for the first 4 or 5 times I watched it. I knew logically who it was but still didn’t really hear “Aaron”. That kid is way older there than on the Island, though. And in the made-up story where Kate is hero of the crash rather than Jack, did they say 8 survived the initial crash? In that case who and why did they say lived initially but didn’t make it?

We still don’t know when they got off the island or how long they were off the island before Kate’s trial.

I don’t think we know that yet. All we know is that something horrific and yet to be revealed actually happened on the island, and the Oceanic Six are keeping it a secret so far.

Kate’s mom mentioned that doctors have been telling her she has 6 months to live for 4 years. That doesn’t place anything exactly since we don’t know if the first time they told her that was around the time Kate went to visit her pre-crash or not, but between that and Aaron’s age, it sure seems like about 3-4 years between crash and her trial.

Even if they don’t go with multiple timelines, they’ve been beating us over the head with time being ‘different’ on the island, so maybe the Oceanic 6 get rescued by the freighter ~100 days after the crash but end up 3-4 years in the future in the real world… though that doesn’t explain how Aaron could be so old looking, unless your body does some quick aging thing to catch up, which would be pretty stupid. But it seems unlikely they’d sit around for years after the return of Kate before putting her on trial, especially if they thought her mom (the star witness) could die at any time.

So, uh, yeah, I hope they’ve plotted this out somehow such that it all makes sense, but as I mentioned in a previous thread, once you start fucking with time, things start getting illogical really quickly, ala Heroes, etc.

remember when lost was all “there’s a scientific explanation for everything”. Now we’re time difference, ghost jacob and the disappearing cabin an…oh yeah… the guy who talks to ghosts.

smh

smh? whiskey tango?

It’s a code.

Are you all 60, sitting around adjusting your rabbit ears to get a good picture while watching this show. Eric? What’s that sonny?

For what? Shaking my head or something?

Well, about 5 people here heard Eric, and I just checked one of the Lost Boards, and some people there did too.

Clearly it wasn’t clear!! :)

Ease up, that’s because Locke is trying to act “official” or “leaderish” or “Jacklike” and sucks at it. He’s a beta trying to be an alpha, which usually leads to dickery.

H.

yeah, but lets stay focused here, the important thing is that lost sucks and the “mystery” is not a mystery, its bullshit being made up as we go along.

So stop watching and shitting on our enjoyment, kthxbye.

Yeah. Eric for me and my finacee as well.

I was wondering what was so dramatic about “Eric”!

the people writing the show are wayyyy ahead of me in shitting on our enjoyment of it.

Fixed.

It’s those crazy australian accents.

Put me as another one who heard Eric. Ofcourse I have a brother Eric. So maybe my being used to hearing that name explains why I thought that was it.

Aaron makes much more sense.
