“Hello Jin, my name is Danielle Rousseau”
She’s the chick with the rifle from the first couple seasons. This is the early version of her, of course.

Oh, right, I got it, duh. Thanks!

So Jin’s been floating close enough to the island to be sliding through time too…

And I guess he has been unconscious while the others went thru 3-4 flashes?

BTW, should they have not been swimming when their outrigger dissappeared?? :) Since everything else connected with an era (camps,H bombs, supplies) did not move thru time with them??

Uh, why couldn’t he be unconscious during the flashes?? Of all the nits to pick, you chose that?

The outrigger not vanishing is a better point, but I think it was there because they were physically touching it. I may be wrong, but it seems like in the other flashes they weren’t touching the items from the other eras that vanished.

Did anyone else find it strange that Ben would reveal to Kate that he’s the one behind her custody “dispute” BEFORE getting her on a boat to the island? What possible motive will she have now to go? Ben doesn’t have standing to challenge her relationship with Aaron.

Or am I being too legalistic?

Seems pretty long to be unconscious floating on a piece of wreakage, did they not spend a whole night at Richard’s camp before Daniel went to the bomb??

And that was only one of 3-4 “stops”.

You do realize thay are going through time changes? Like, going back and forth through time. So time is sort of, uh, relative. Jin could of been there floating for 4 hours in HIS time, then he warps into the time of the French survivors…he becomes part of their group…damn, you may be right, I may be right, probably NO ONE is right, but don’t make me argue about Lost because it makes my head hurt trying to tie all the plots together, and i still want to see more branded Dharma sharks, and if EVER there was a perfect scene for it it was tonight, paddling the outrigger, and they didn’t give me ONE GLIMPSE of a fin…

Lost is better when you just go with it…for me.

I’m just glad that Danielle is already visibly pregnant and they aren’t going to try to pull some “Jin is Alex’s real father” tomfoolery.

No, the time traveling group (including Jin, I’m assuming) is traveling at the same rate. There is no evidence they are traveling separately. Therefore, he is on the raft for the whole time period we have been seeing the other parts of the group. When he and the French go up the beach, I’m guessing they run into the others.

The other inconsistency which I remember is Locke and Sawyer discussing the group which left the island without including Jin, as if they know he is supposed to be dead, and they should have no way of knowing this, IIRC…

Sawyer was on the helicopter when the boat blew up.

Why try to figure out the “rules” of Lost time travel? The rules are whatever the writers want them to be, and they’re not telling us.

I think Ben or Sayid would be okay with physically forcing her. Or shooting her with a tranq gun.

No he wasn’t. He jumped off before they got to the freighter. When he got to the shore he asked juliet what she was celebrating when in fact she was morning the loss of everybody on the freighter.

I want to know how Ben is going to prove Jin is alive.

If history is any indication, I think he’ll just say it so hard that everybody on screen forgets why they ever doubted him and then he’ll go back to being a bastard. Or maybe that just works with Locke.

No. It works with everybody. Remember Ninja Sayid telling Hurley not to believe a word coming out of Ben’s mouth? And then remember him driving Ben down to the marina?

Ben is what happens when you build a 300 pt character and put all those points into the Persuasion skill.

No, it’s not strange because that’s how Ben’s been for the entire show. He’s deceptive, but pretty open and honest about it. It hasn’t stopped him from getting what he wants up until this point.

I love Ben. My biggest problem with Ben so far is the confusion between when he seems to have known all along what was going to happen, and when he seems to be waylayed by events.

In particular, his conflict with Locke over the leadership of the others and jealousy over the connection with Jakob. Surely he and Richard had discussed it along the way at some point, and yet now it seems like there was no reason for that to have happened at all … Feh, at least it is fun to watch.
