Apparently only one boy. Only one casting descriptor, anyway.

True, but he clearly had dark hair the second time.

I got the impression that the other 2004 people (other than Libby and Mrs. Widmore) could only be made aware of the situation after Desmond did his whole crossover thing.

You’re forgetting Charlie. Had his on the plane, long before the crossover.

He also ODed on heroin. He’s not exactly the most reliable source and seems pretty unchanged from where he was in the original 2004 timeline.

He had his revelation when he was near death, which has happened with other people. NDEs appear to qualify as one of the triggering events.

I thought he just choked on the bag when he tried to swallow the drugs to get rid of them. Was he actually trying to die from an OD?

He wasn’t trying to die at all, but when the bag became lodged in his throat and his OOBE started, he changed his mind and was totally happy with drifiting away.

Then Jack brought him back. Man, fuck that guy.

Jack brought him back so he could put Desmond on the path to running down Locke.

But Jack didn’t know that. Slop doesn’t count.

It’s technically from this song, which is by Pendulum.

I always skip that song. The sound clips do not fit at all and it ruins the song for me.

The Boy. First time I saw him, I thought of Jacob. He died without putting up a fight.
Maybe he are destined to be reborn and quickly reach the apperant age that Jacob had.
If that happens before Man in Black gets of the Island, it will be too late.

Doesn’t it look like the boy aged a couple of years, and are showing MiB that his time are running out?

Too much?

Anyone noticed whenever the boy appears UnLocke acts a LOT like the real Locke?

Oh, that’s good. Gracias.

I think that’s probably accidental - he acts a bit like the real Locke when the kid isn’t around too. He just got his signature line off after meeting the kid. I think they were trying to imply in that scenario that The Lockeness Monster is an awful lot of Locke on the inside, rather than suggesting that Unexplained Small Boy screws with his brains. That’s what I got, anyway.

Wha? Yes, please!

After massage, you get the egg roll?

If they hadn’t drawn so many mysteries out for so long they might not’ve had to deliver them all with a cricket bat.

Not especially satisfying, but at least they’re doing it …
