Yup, ABC.COM lists the Richard Episode (Ab Aeterno) as the one playing next week, with a return of new episodes on May 4th. If they’re going to run a repeat, at least they picked just about the best epsiode of LOST in the past 3 years to run.

Ok but the launching of the flaming/explosive balls of whatever was so weird and lame of a plot device. I mean, do they have catapults or a howitzer or mortars or what?
So, was fake Locke pretending to be Michael to stop them from blowing up the plane? Is fake Locke stuck in Locke’s body?
Those are pressing questions.

Michael is a ghost on the island I don’t think they’re going to double back on that explanation.
Locke’s body is buried in the ground. I think Flocke is using Locke’s image because he wants to not because he has to.

I assumed it was either mortars or missiles launched from the sub…
I also want to know how they knew Locke’s exact location when Jack crawled onto the beach. A mole? A spy following them? Some kind of tracking device on Jack? I didn’t get it at all.

Plot necessity. They needed to eliminate a bunch of the random island people without having to put real effort into it.
They were on the shore and could be seen from the other island?
Are you asking or trying to answer? Because either way, there’s no way to tell if they could or not from the information given.

I thought “hail of flaming arrows fired by horde of invisible archers” was the accepted method of culling the herd.
Are you referring to the fact that it was night when Jack and Claire had their 5 second reunion, and full daylight when they rejoined the rest of the group, or was there other day/night oddness that I missed?
They are questions the show has already answered. Fake Locke IS stuck in Locke’s body. Ilana (IIRC) said so near the beginning of the season. They didn’t say why he’s stuck (though it seems likely it is because he’s not allowed to change form while Jacob is ‘dead’), but they did establish he can’t look like anyone other than Locke anymore.
IMO, Michael basically existed this season as a way to quickly explain the whispers, not really anything more or less. They don’t have time enough for any big new developments they show in these last few episodes to be misdirection.
When/how did Claire learn that she and Jack were half-siblings? Did Smokey Christian tell her?
I was referencing my first moment of genuine disgust with Lost this season, which was relatively minor. I complained about it upthread, but most disagreed with my point of view.
But at this point I’m calling it as a righteous harbinger. This latest episode was trash, and you all know it.
Jumping the shark at 4 episodes before the end of the show isn’t bad, though. I’m not being hyper-critical here, I’m just saying, man, this shit is getting sloppy.
It’s not something about lasers, is it?
Because I’m OK with smoke monsters, time travel, alternate realities, massive plot coincidences, red herrings, ghosts, dropped storylines, pointless digressions, fluctuating character motivation, mysticism, and weird science, but if they have a throwaway line that does not properly refer to the history and development of the laser, I’M OUT!
I don’t even remember if there has ever been a laser beam used in this show. Has there? You’re confusing and upsetting me. Should I send Tom a PM asking him about it?
C’mon, Jackstar. The lasers are obviously for the sharks. I thought you said you watched Lost.
I used to, but they had some other show on last night, and I can’t wait until they put Lost back on the air, because whatever show they had on last night sucked balls.

I’m pretty sure the dialogue made mention of having line of sight on the target.
