That episode needed more Denny Crane.

I myself am waiting for the inevitable Kate Jack Juliet threesome.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.[/Montoya]

That was how Lost is supposed to work. Solid episode and from the looks of it, we’ll finally get to see what happened with Eko, Locke and Desmond.

Where the hell did you pull that from? Did you and I just watch the same episode?
The “coming next week” said so.
Jesus christ, that was the worst ambush I’ve ever seen.
“Our Guys” get less competent every episode…
Wow, Trixie didn’t last long… go back to Deadwood!

IMDB lists her for only that episode… which of course, means little. I hope she comes back and puts a hurting on someone, though.
I can’t believe they lost the boat. It’s inconceivable that they would be that dumb.

damn… the show is getting dumber and dumber as we go along… I continue to get the feeling that we are being prodded along – like the last few seaons of the X-Files – so we will all watch the yet-to-be-announced “Lost:the Movie”’ in theatres.
anyways, looks like Jack will be asked to perform surgery on the blonde chick that Sun shot in the boat. I betcha…

it was kinda nice that Sawyer said “fuck this” and kissed Kate knowing full well that he would get bitchslapped… gained more respect for him.

Don’t count her out yet. She was shot somewhere in the appendix/colon area, maybe nicked the liver. Based on the island’s history, that’s nowhere near mortal.

I think he also did it as a diversion to get the gun.
I’m on the fence about the season so far. I haven’t seen anything to make me stop watching it, but not much to talk about the next day either.

Hey at least for once Sawyer didn’t get immedately pwned like every other episode. He actually kicked a little ass for once. Speaking of which, why the hell didn’t Kate show her ninja skills? We know she’s no ditz from her backstory. For shame writers.

You know, I kind of agreed with him when he said she just looked too good breaking those rocks…thank god the writers thought of a way to get Kate in a cute dress for the first few episodes of the season.
Sawyer became my hero when he uttered the line “Chain Gang looks good on you Freckles.” Damn straight it does…
Why is Sawyer, whom the writers went to lengths to portray as last season’s dumb and wimpy comic relief, suddenly the only smart and courageous one of the bunch? He’s back to being the clever and calculating con man he was in the first season. I swear the writers have bi-polar disorder or something, I mean pick a fucking angle and stick with it already. Jack breaks in less than two episodes thanks to guilt over the happiness of his ex-wife? WTF?! Kate seems totally subdued, which is completely out of character for her, and now Sayid makes the most ridiculous ambush plan in history and we’re supposed to believe it was an honest mistake.
Hopefully the show will get better next week with the return of Locke, Desmond and Eko. Looks like we get some answers about the smoke monster as well. Let’s hope they’re not as lame as some of the stuff the writers have cranked out recently.
In a way, though, we got some answers.
They have a good connection to the outside world, and Henry Gale was born on the island. It’s definetly not a Truman Show type thing.
Sayid proved why the Iraqis lost the war, and Sun and Jin proved why the Koreans fight well.
One thing I’m curious about–they’ve obviously got a good satellite feed of some sort, and their homes and dress are very currently styled, but why are their electronics so old?
I think it’s because they are writing it as they go along but I’m sure they will come up with some weird excuse… or ignore it completely.
