Lucid Dreaming on demand?

I get that from time to time, but I don’t get the terror. Didn’t even realize it was something that scared other people. I usually only get it when I try to take a quick catnap on a day I’ve had a lot of caffeine and can’t get properly deeply asleep quickly. So I lay there realizing I’m actually mostly dreaming/asleep and feeling paralyzed and I don’t exactly like it but I’m not very frightened by it. I know it will pass.

There is a trick you can try with sleep paralysis. You only need to move one small part of yourself to break through it, so concentrate on a finger or toe. Bend every effort into moving that part of you, to the exclusion of all else. Don’t think about anything else. If you manage to move it, you should find you can then move the rest of your body and break out of the paralysis.

I’ve been starting to have lucid dreams after getting on my first life-long medication. Drugs definitely are the way to go!
