Sad to hear about Alda. I was probably the perfect age to enjoy both the original movie and the TV series having graduated high school in 1974.
The movie is a classic, although the football segment didn’t age so well. The TV series is also a classic, but I hate what it did to the Radar character. I also think the later years really demonstrate why the show needed to end. For every good show there was a so so show. The show just ran on too long.
Sounds like he’s dealing with the disease in a positive manner. Good for him.
