Pumpkinhead:

Cowboys beat the Eagles 27-21 in a game that went right down to the wire. The Eagles had 1st and goal on the Cowboys 1 with under 2 minutes left and looked like they were going to take the lead. But a crucial holding penalty on Leonard Weaver knocked them back to the 11 and the Cowboys D barely held on. The game took about 2 hours to play due to a disconnection about 3/4 through our first attempt.

Shmtur - we’re up. I’m traveling from Sun-Wed, so it realistically will have to be sometime on Saturday. I’m technically free tomorrow, but am going out with friends after work and plan on being happily drunk when I get home. Sorry for the narrow window, if you can’t make it on Sat. let me know and I’ll drop so you can play the AI.

Also, I talked to 'Nute and since we both have AI games our final week and I was planning on jumping to the Bengals next season anyway, I’m going to switch early and take over the Bengals for their final game of the season v. the Steelers.

Another one-point loss, this time to the Falcons. We made a stunning comeback, and with thirty seconds left on the clock took the gamble of trying a two-point conversion to take the lead, but fell inches short. Interceptions were what killed the game, and an inability to stop Michael Turner when it counted. The Falcons’ first two touchdowns came off a 55 yard run and a 60+ yard pass - the mud-slow Steelers defense is becoming a serious liability.

It’d probably have to be before about 1pm (ish) central time on Saturday; would about noon central time work for you? I can play earlier if need be, as well.

So… Not One Of Us got himself banned from QT3 (c.f. the Bananas and Nuts thread); so, at this point, you’ll need to contact him via messages on Live if you have a game.

I figure we can leave him in the league for the rest of the season (provided he’s responsive on Live, of course); if he’s still banned at season end, we’ll probably need to drop him due to League Rule #1. Hopefully he’ll be able to work out his differences with Tom :)

I was just wondering about that. As someone who might have his juggernaut of a team in the playoffs, I would like to selfishly ask that we kick him now!
