Is there a certain player you would like injured? I will try to do a called shot when I play them.
Speaking of Texans…James! I didn’t forget about you. Monster Hunter Tri and SSIV has been taking up my gaming time. We will meet with the adjusted rosters online soon, I hope!

Mighty, thanks for playing on short notice. In a rough game full of long drives (on both sides, actually), I have to say I wish I was as good of a sport as you are when things aren’t going my way. Good luck the rest of the season.

Did you break the streak of games where he’s knocked out a running back?

Wait a second, you shut the Steelers out, 35-0?

Yep on both. I took out Dominique Foxworth for a series, however.

As for the shutout, I just couldn’t get any offense going. Trevor Pryce and Ray Lewis controlled my run, and his corners and Ed “that sonovabitch” Reed managed to restrict my passing game pretty severely.

Ed Reed also returned a field goal for 35 yards.

Not a punt. Not a kickoff.

A field goal.

Thankfully, my running backs are feeling good. In fact, that may be my first online game of Madden where no RBs sat out at all.

Mighty, tell me Mr. Miller is ok.

Heath’s fine, just a pulled pectoral muscle. He returned for my last offensive series.

Despite not having any offensive scoring, I think this game had some of my strongest drive consistency, marred only by being forced to run left constantly to avoid Trevor Pryce, which tired Marshawn Lynch out too much.

Rashard Mendenhall did a journeyman’s job of breaking tackles, though. Baltimore’s defensive line is a group of beasts, I tell you.

I tried to play my game against the AI and got the lost connection message. Hopefully I’m playing a human this week :)

Arrggh - this is going to be hard to watch. I’m switching back next season…

James, Maddengeek - it looks like the Bills, the Broncos, and the Steelers are all trying to fight for that #6 seed in the wildcard bracket.

No way the Dolphins are going to win the AFC East. For some reason, the AI seems to have a hardon for them in simmed games (VegasLife’s disconnect last week hurt my playoff hopes a bit), but they only have 2 AI games left (Raiders and Pats) which puts them at 8-8 at best. I’ve got 4 AI games left so if I can manage to steal one from you, Ryan, Talisker, or Shmtur then I win the division on tiebreakers. Now watch me go out and lose this week to the AI Jets.

No worries, I’ve been spending most of my time paragliding around Panau anyway. Just PM with a day or two notice and we’re on.

This is truth. Pryce was everywhere when fuzzy and I played. PA rollout to Pryce’s side = bad idea.

Please do, that would help my standings so much.

This is truth. Pryce was everywhere when fuzzy and I played. PA rollout to Pryce’s side = bad idea.

I noticed that. But instinctively I kept doing it. Note to self: STOP DEFAULTING TO THE PLAY-ACTION.

I did have a BEAUTIFUL Flea Flicker play where Trevor Pryce delivered a bone-crunching leaping tackle - to the completely wrong guy. Bit on the play like a dingo on a baby. If only I’d managed to complete the damn pass

Yeah, Trevor snacked on some Brees earlier this season, too. Someone knock him out of the playoffs!

You all leave Trevor alone. After all, he’s named Trevor. Trevor is a nice guy name.

Not as nice as Drew. Trevor’s a jerk.

Trevor Pryce is a cambion, the unholy spawn of man and devil, an abomination of flesh that should never have seen the light of day. His very existence is a blight on all that is good and pure. I’m pretty sure he moonlights as a miniboss in GodHand.

The 'Hawks are 4-4 with 207 PF and 208 PA

We are the average. And we are playing the Bucs.

Omniscia - name your time, I have to do it tonight or tommorrow night post 6pm PST. I will probably be offline until Monday at the earliest after that.

Step on to the scales of mediocrity and be weighed!

10:00 pm EST works for me, which I believe is 7:00 pm PST.

Well, the Redskins are no longer winless, thanks to my terrible passing tonight. And ashileedo’s excellent playcalling. And Clinton Portis smashing through my defensive line like a bowling ball pretty much all game.

Crappy Madden night, lost both league games back-to-back. Grrr!

Jack English and the Bucs were at home this week, against BlueJackalope’s Seahawks. Once again, it was a display of offensive mediocrity, as English couldn’t quite thread those passes. I think he only completed three, all told, but two of them were beauties to Michael Clayton, which set up a TD run on a short field by Ernest Graham.

Oh, yeah, he was also sacked for a safety.

Defensively, though, Tampa had a much better game. Though Willie Parker tried as hard as he could to wipe the floor with them, and had a fine game for himself, the Tampa defense stuck in there. They bent, but didn’t break, giving up only two field goals from down in the red zone. Gaines Adams chipped in with several tackles and an INT return, and BJ Askew picked up a fumble and took it back while covering on a punt.

The other major difference in the game: The 5 INTs thrown by Matt Hasselbeck. Those killed several dangerous-looking drives.

So, 21-8 is your final score, and the Skins are safely back in last place amongst us humans, for now.

Mazeltov on the defensive improvements!

WOOO! Go Omniscia! NFC South repreSENT! Except that Strummer guy, everyone beat him so I don’t have to worry about missing out on winning the division.

Those were all in the first half…lol

The fumbled punt returned for a TD didn’t hurt ya much either.

Conclusive proof the Seahawks should never travel east of the Mississippi.
