Saints 44, Rams 7.

The story of this game was written when two of the Rams’ first three drives ended in red zone interceptions. Reggie Bush turned all of these into points, making the halftime score 20-0 when it could have been 20-14. Bush didn’t let up for the rest of the day, and Drew Brees had a perfect passer rating of 158.3, completing 80% of his passes for over 17 yards per attempt to pick apart the Rams’ suspect pass defense, which was mostly “whatever poor sap was covering Bush.” 300 yards receiving solidified Bush’s position as the NFL’s top receiver, and the Saints improve to 8-1.

Next week, the Redskins.

No such luck, Nute, I held serve despite a lackluster offensive showing. After giving up an opening drive TD keyed by a 65-yd pass to Reggie Wayne, my defense buckled down and only allowed 3 more points, frustrating my attempts to throw the game away with 4(!) interceptions. Ugh. Just pure laziness and overconfidence. I did knock Sanchez out for a couple weeks and then got to beat on David Carr a bit, so that was fun.

After beating up on AI offenses for a couple weeks, I’ve got a big test with the The Girley Show coming up next.

Unfortunately not. I didn’t see VegasRobb online at all over the last couple days; hope everything’s ok there.

I’m guessing he spent the entire time trying to coax Adrian Peterson out of the locker room. Poor guy just can’t handle the thought of playing the Packer defense again, I’m sure.
