I’d be up for an accelerated 3rd season if we can get it in before Madden 11 is released. There is more than likely gonna be some major online franchise additions in that game that is gonna make it worthwhile to start a new league.

With two losses to NOOU’s Cards and losing the potential wildcard tie-breaker game to Strummer’s Panthers, I’m pretty sure I have no chance of making the playoffs. I’m gonna drop out of the leagues and trade in the game while I can still get some cash for it. These two seasons have been some of the most fun I’ve had in gaming and I will most definitely be getting Madden 11 in August. Thanks for the great times everybody, I’ll see you all in the new league. I’ll probably be a new team again; maybe the Cowboys. I’ve always wanted to be a cowboy.

Sad to see you go, 7x6. My games against you were always extremely close and a blast to play. :) I’ll cya when Madden 11 comes out!

I’m good with twice a week playoff rollovers to get us to a fast 3rd season. If changing the settings requires canceling the QT3 league and starting from scratch, I’m not really interested in fiddling with the settings. The progression thing is a lot of why I like the dynasty modes.

I’ll leave it up to Cubit to bring you the gory details, but we had a rather strange game last night (that the Rams totally won), with the Bucs alternately playing amazing – at times the run defense was unstoppable – and appalling football. Jack English led the Bucs downfield on several promising drives, only to throw them away with an ill-advised INT within striking range, especially when he tried to throw to the right. Ernest Graham couldn’t really go anywhere on the ground.

Tampa didn’t score a single point on offense. Our two touchdowns, both by Aqib Talib, came on a fake punt pass and a Pick 6. We nearly had another fake punt pass TD, but the punter for some reason decided to throw it right down the middle of the field, rather than to either of the corners who were wide open to his left and his right.

English’s passer rating was something like 39.2, to Bulger’s 40. It was less than one point’s difference, if I recall. Bidwell, the punter, had a 133 or something.

Our first meeting was simmed, and my Browns somehow eked out a 1 point win despite the fact that the Cleveland Browns may very well be the lowest rated team in the league in terms of football ability. I credit my playcalling for any wins I get and blame my players’ atrocious talent level for any loss. So basically I’m just like Mangini.
