Anyway we can do it around 2 PM PST on Saturday? Got plans for the evening, and being in the eastern time zone, 3 PM PST will put me in a time crunch.
Yeah, if not for my defense creating turnovers, I would have not even been close. Honestly, just could not throw over Xaroc’s LBs. I think I had 6 or 7 passes knocked by them. He had my number and he was not afraid to use it. New gameplan needed!
Very fun game though. I need to quit getting behind in the first half. Not a good gameplan overall.
Sounds good, I will try and be on earlier too.
Nothing of note to report except that AI Matt Hasselbeck is Terry Bradshaw bald. I am up against the Bills next, and figured I’d mention it since I start a new job on Tuesday, which means that I will have a less flexible schedule. AngstErk, how’s next weekend look for you?

Heh, so my schedule got flipped around Vegas, my apologies for the late notice. I’ll be on around 3 PM PST as you originally planned. I’ll see ya then.

Should be fine. Let me know.
Yeah man, if you want to put together a team you are more than welcome.
Check out this thread for more info:
After the 50-7 debacle, Pittsburgh and New York make a landmark trade:
Dustin Keller, Antonio Cromartie, and Shonn Greene to the Steelers
Rashard Mendenhall, Heath Miller, and William Gay to the Jets

Are the Steelers even the Steelers anymore?
So are we in agreement that the Steelers got hosed big time in that trade or is it just me?
I don’t know if one side necessarily got totally hosed, but I’m wondering the motivation behind such a trade. It seems like the players given up and the players received don’t bring a whole lot of difference to the table for either team.
At 0-3, I don’t have a lot to lose by bringing new blood to the table.
I was looking for more speed at TE and nobody else was interested in miller.
Seems like a player preference / style preference type trade. Just like the NFL, Keller and Miller are great security blankets but they are different types of TE.
So, I just got a new mic that I want to test out. Can anyone hop in the franchise room (or challenge me to a game - my tag is Shinefield) so I can test it out?

Vegas, my bad again, but I’m not going to able to make the game in time from where I’m at tonight. I’m free anytime tomorrow, so just let me know and I’ll be there whenever your free. My apologies, but unexpected important shit came up.

Vikings vs. Panthers Recap
The fans were out in force this afternoon, and Prince’s Vikings themesong was blaring in the dome as the Panthers came into Minnesota.
The game started with Big Ben in the Panther's uniform for the first time, working with Deangelo and Steve Smith to get into Viking territory off screens and short passes. A 45 yard field goal was missed by the new kicker Coker, (we miss Mr. Automatic, John Kasay). The Vikings marched right back, behind the running of Mr. Frisch (Vegas is going to be a beast when AP gets back) for a quick FG.
Second quarter the Panthers went three and out, and the Vikings came right back down the field in a time eating drive to score on a TD to Shiancoe. With a minute left in the half, Big Ben took the offense into the hurry up, and in three quick plays had a TD pass to TE Kosch to get the Panthers on the board before the half.
Vikings came right back for another quick score, again behind the running of Frisch. On the ensuing kickoff return however, Steve Smith took it to the house to keep it a game. The Vikings were held to a FG on the next set of downs, and the Panthers came back with a TD to make it a one point game (21-20, Panthers). Chirs Gamble had a big interception of the Vikings next drive, giving Big Ben a chance to stretch the lead, which he gladly took advantage of with another TD pass to Blake for the final score. A failed fourth down conversion in the 4th quarter for the Vikings (which I thought Vegas actually converted, but the computer upheld even after a challenge,) sealed the deal for the Panthers. Final Score: 28-20, Panthers
