They played a fine game. Heath Miller in particular was quite something; nigh unstoppable.
But somehow we’ve learned to stop making egregious mistakes with Chad Henne, and the Marshall Express came through with another pair of touchdowns. Plus Davone Bess and a few key catches, including a touchdown of his own.
August 30th for the next Madden game. Sounds like we can squeak another season if people are interested after this one (I know I am).
Yeah, TD plays of 91, 49, 76, 30, 103, 28 yards, kind of tells you how the game went. Bucs were methodical and I couldn’t stop them. Minus the turnovers, it could have been a slaughter on the other end, maybe 60+ points for you.
The messed up part is my D is good, I only called a bad play knowingly once (took a chance on a Cover 3 zone on a 3rd and long…and you screened me for a TD). Damn you Bucs!
Fun game, I just need to figure me out. :P

Vikings / Lions is in the book. Finally figured out why I get the occassional unreadable disc error … the disc has a small crack in the center. :/
Hopefully I can pick up a used copy fairly cheap at Gamestop.
As for playing another season, the Vikings are in.

Yeah, that sounds good. I’d love to see how Henne progresses in the off-season.
There’s a lot of racing to be watched today but as long as you can play a little later I can play in the evening.

Darn, lost my star Safety on a beautiful interception. Apparently the “sideline” messed him up because no one was near him. 10 weeks!
Chargers over the Chiefs in a white knuckler 21-19.
After trading Turnovers leading to scores going into halftime score was 14-10.
Another Colts TD off of an 81 yard run by Ryan Matthews and a Chief FG the score going into the 4th quarter was 21-13.
With 1:12 left in the game Hypno scored on a 6 yard drag to Chris Chambers. Needing the 2 pt conversion Hypno hit a leaping WR (Bowe maybe) who was drilled in the back, he held on, but fell short of the goaline.
Fun game. The Chiefs were hitting harder than a Greg The Hammer Valentine elbow drop and my sideline looked like a medical tent at the Battle of Antietam. Taking cart rides were Eric Weddle (8 weeks) Dislocated Hip, and Mike Tolbert, who was subbing for a shaken Jacob Hester, Broken Collarbone (12 Weeks). They Join Kris Dielman who has been out since game two with a torn pectoral and Vincent Jackson who has a dislocated knee.
Jackson should be back for the playoffs.
Well, whaddya think of that? Giants beat Philadelphia, 31-24. Three of my four touchdowns were scored by my defense. BUt it puts me at 8-7, over Philadelphia’s 7-8 record. And since I’ve beaten the Eagles both times we’ve played, even if I lose to Miami next week (and I haven’t won a single game against a human this year) I should take the NFC East and make the playoffs.

Maybe I’ll rest Brandon until the playoffs. While I’d love to keep racking up the stats with him, I can’t risk him getting injured.
