But it did. And the Chiefs killed us. Brandon had to settle for 106 yards and only one TD, as the KC pass rush was in Henne’s face all night long. Add to that a steady 17 MPH wind, and our bread and butter was no longer there.

Also, we couldn’t stop the Chiefs offense on third down, and while our defense could bat the ball around, nobody could pick off Cassel.

Sorry, never checked the forums after I went out. How about tonight at 9:15 eastern?

IkeV: I’ll see if I can’t catch you during the day tomorrow. Try for around 5 to 6PM EST?

Heh, we posted at the same time.

That should work too. Try to send me a PM if you can be more specific about time. If not I’ll try to look for you.

IkeV: ready when you are.

5:30. 10 minutes.

The 14-2 returning Super Bowl champion Arizona Cardinals fall to the 8-8 New York Giants played by Ike “Didn’t beat a single human player all season” Vandergraaf, 17-14.

Really good game. He stopped my run, and I couldn’t stop his. That made the difference.

See you all next season.

In what looks to be an uneventful formality, the 8-8 Giants host the 14-2 World Champion Cardinals in a blinding snowstorm. In the previous matchup between these two teams on week 9, the Cardinals shut out the Giants in Arizona, 24-0.

The Giants take an early lead on a 17 yard Brandon Jacobs touchdown in the first quarter and follow it up with a TD pass to Mario Manningham to end the half 14-0.

And then Larry Fitzgerald realized it was the playoffs.

Fitzgerald is unstoppable catching two TD passes while the Arizona defense shuts down the previously explosive New York offense to tie the game up 14-14 with 3:10 left.

Giants drive the field including a 4th and 5 conversion and are finally stopped at the Arizona 21 with 2 seconds left on the clock, 8mph winds, near blizzard conditions and horrifying XBox lag to attempt the 38 yard field goal to win the game and advance to the divisional rounds.

The kick is up and it’s… GOOD! Giants beat the Cardinals 17-14!

Great game and kudos to Cold Shoulder. My hands were sweating and shaking that entire last drive.

Holy shit. You go from not beating a human player to taking down the champ? Nice going!

Thanks. Any given Wednesday.

Diddy Kong and the Steelers beat the Colts in an incredibly close game (14 - 10).

Jpinard shut my offense down in in the 2nd half, but my D barely managed to contain Lazer Arm Manning…mostly due to 2 picks by Cromartie (one of which was a pick 6).

Great game jpinard…that was a stressful game.

We are rolled.

Hypno, when can you play?

Against you? Never. Against someone who I have a shot at beating, I could play right now, or tomorrow night would work too.

How about Sunday evening? I’ve got a tech conference on Friday and Saturday and I better get to bed at a decent time tomorrow.

This was such a great game. Focusing so much on Marshall meant that the rest of my defense had to play a perfect game, and despite me they did. Having Jerod Mayo back made a huge difference for my defense and he was probably the biggest reason I won. I also got very lucky that when Cassell made mistakes your defenders forgot how to catch.

I can play Sunday any time after the race is over.

Oh, and I think we play in the fantasy league this week too. If you want to try a double-header I’m game, or we can find another time.

Cubit, what’s your availability? I can play today during the day and most of tomorrow. Weekend’s a little goofy, but I can probably play Sunday afternoon or evening.

Chargers (blue)!

When are you free to play? I should be free most evenings after 7:00 pm Eastern.

I’m free post 6pm PST most nights. Tonight would work. Friday is out but Sat and Sunday are wide open.

We’re ready, we’ve had a week off everybody should be fresh…

Well at least the Steeler fans are ready.

(that’s a swinging gold tassle btw)
