Diddy Kong and the Ape Shits fall to Bluejackalope and the Chargers 21 - 17 in a closely contested game which wasn’t settled until the final play.
Great game Blue…stressful, but fun!
Excellent Game, a story of two halfs. Two touchdown drives and a pick six had us feeling okay going into the halftime. But Dalin used Jamarcus’ speed to drive the field with less than a minute thirty and make it 21-7.
The Chargers were unable to move the ball in the second half, including a pick that Dalin turned into a FG. Another drive using Jamarcus’ feet and the game sat at 21 - 17 with a little more than two minutes left on the clock. Facing a 4th and 9 on his side of the 50 Dalin went for it. Wallace caught the ball and I swear fell forward across the first down marker with three guys piled on top of him. But the refs gave us the home spot and the ball turned over.
A couple of decent runs and the Colts were in FG territory with a bit more than a minute on the clock. Norv called for a screen pass and Rivers got blown the fuck up. A missed 53 yard FG later and Dalin was out of timeouts with around a minute to play. Again using his QB’s feet he drove to the 15 yard line or so. With two seconds left Jamarcus rooooollllls left…he can see the endzone but two defenders are closing…Keller is racing towards the corner of the endzone…maybe open…Jamarcus fires…I pee…the ball is batted down!
Awesome game. The pick six to Jammer was the difference, the Colts are lucky to escape. I would have liked to have seen the modified OT rules, but not bad enough to actually want to give Dalin anymore chances.
Looks like Falcons / Vikings will happen late afternoon Friday.

Even with a disappointing season by the Bucs (damn you Freeman!), this has been a really fun year. Thanks for all of the work the commish’s put in and I look forward to next year.

Don’t hate!
Falcons beat the Vikings 28-21 in a fun filled game featuring Percy Harvin returning the opening kick off 99 yards for a score. After that though the Falcons calmed down and responded with a couple of scoring drives of their own to make it 14-7. After another stop the Falcons were driving again late in the half but Ryan missed his mark and was picked off. That led to a late half drive by the Vikes to make it 14 all at the half. In the 3rd and 4th quarter the Falcons extended the lead to 28-14 missing a 26 yard FG in the process. With 2 minutes left the Vikings led a quick drive down the field and ended up scoring with around 30 seconds to go. The onside kick was recovered by the Falcons and that was that.

Yeah the Falcon offense was very consistent. Too few stops on their side of the field put the Viking defense too many difficult situations.
Bring it home for the NFC!
