Techoverse and I just finished. Quite the game.
He destroyed me in the first half. I scored on my first drive, he scored on his second, then he scored off a pick I threw as I was getting hit, and then he ran Reggie all over me.
Other than a couple of lucky plays at the end of the half, I was getting beat up. End of the half score was 10 - 21 Saints. I scored the field goal in the last few seconds of the half. He just ran all over me. Thomas, Reggie, some guy off the street, they could all run on me. Mike Williams was pretty much the only player to do anything impressive in the first half on my team.
Second half was all the Kenarious Fluellen, or The Flu as Techno nicknamed him (we had to come up with a nickname since we could not pronounce his name). Did I mention Carnel went down for the game on the first play of the game? He did. The rook stepped in, but sucked in the first half. I think I had 5 rushing yards total. Second half, he scored two TDs, one rushing, and one receiving and had almost a hundred total yards. Nice game for The Flu, my new starting running back!
I came back, got it to 24 - 21 for me, but left 48 sec on the clock. First play for the Saints, 60 yard pass to Colston. But, somehow, I manage to hold them to three. We tie, we go into over time.
In overtime, the Saints go down the field a bit, but my defense holds, then we get the ball and the second pay, Freeman throws a huge rainbow to Benn running across the field who catches and pushes his way through to go into the endzone, game over!
Great game! Going to be a really tough fight in the NFC South this year.
