Predictably the NYT tries starting shit: BUT HIS GAFFES:

Man, NYTimes ain’t even doing bothsides right. Where’s the Yo, Semites mention?

Gee CNN, couldn’t find a better video to link to other than Sam Parker, super right wing, anti-trans, racist piece of shit former candidate for the Utah Senate?

Doll is disturbing in and of itself, but wtf CNN?

I had to Google him because I’d never heard of him. I don’t even see him included in the totals for the GOP primary in 2018, that was between Mitt Romney and Mike Kennedy. I didn’t even see him mentioned in the article that covered the GOP convention that year:

So even calling him a “candidate for Utah Senate” might be a bit generous, it seems like he’s just a crackpot extremist? Which makes it even more baffling that CNN would be paying attention to his Twitter feed. I guess they know where to look for crazy hottakes.

Don’t worry, CNN* has that covered:

[And addressing the typo:]

'*Not just CNN, every media outlet is (and has done) the same thing.

Democrats: How about $3 trillion
Republicans: We want nothing higher than $1 trillion
Democrats: Ok, how about $2 trillion
Republicans: Nope, nothing higher than $1 trillion

Media: Washington in Gridlock.

It’s working too. Im seeing a lot of “both sides” sentiment. I think this is how corporate media gets their horse race when they start touting trump’s EO as being “above partisan politics.”

( Btw you double pasted your link.)

Thanks! I was wondering why it wouldn’t work.

That is giving Senate Republicans way more credit than they have earned.

Maybe he’ll use some of the Wall money.

Apparently we just need to elect presidents now, and they can just rule be fiat (so long as they’re Republicans of course.)

Yep - we can dissolve that pesky Congress and form the Empire of the United States!

It’s almost like I’ve seen this movie.

Except, oops, that’s not what the story says at all:

Of course even that formulation is misleading: a fully accurate story would say, “Every country in the world, except Putin’s Russia, its allies, and Brazil, prefers Biden because Trump is unpredictable. This is also true of a majority of the US population.” But it’s phrased the way it is to make it sound scary … oooooh, let’s single out China! … and to make “having a preference” sound equivalent to what Russia is doing, namely actively interfering.

Later on in the article it says:

China has grown more aggressive in recent months, criticizing the U.S. response to the coronavirus, although Evanina noted that Beijing continues to weigh the “risks and benefits of aggressive action” when it comes to influencing the election.

Russia, however, has been observed using a number of tactics, including spreading propaganda on social media and Russian television, to denigrate Biden, the former vice president and presumptive Democratic nominee.

While the words deny it, the paragraph construction makes you wonder whether China criticizing the US’s coronavirus response and Russia using fake accounts and bots to claim Biden is senile are both comparable election interference actions. They both get equal space, after all!

Wow Knollers Twitter feed reads like he’s the WH press secretary. (For those that don’t click the link, he’s CBS WH correspondent).

Just wow.

Just a cute little aside, but while reading a CNN article, this was one of their “related article” suggestion boxes.
