I’m not the biggest fan of The Verge, but it was a daily stop for me.

I can’t digest the new site. I’m really trying to quell the whole ‘change is bad’ reaction people have when sites redesign. So I won’t call it bad, but I personally am just totally lost when I hit the page and not sure how much longer it will take me to adjust

Heh. I remember the first car I got with TPMS. That indicator came on a few months later and I was very much “WTF is that icon???” That was over a decade ago though. Definitely a little weirder to not recognize it now.

But apparently I’m the weird one who encounters something strange or unknown and my go-to isn’t to ask random strangers first, based on some of the stuff I see on the internet.

Edit: And my current car was the first car I’ve owned that had this light. The second I saw it I pretty much knew what it was, but wasn’t sure, so I looked at my tires and thought: “I was right, it’s a tire pressure indicator”. I also saw it a shitload because one of the tires had a slow leak so for that entire winter I had to top off every 3 days or so.
