Exactly. So, for example, you zone into Fisk tower (to get the point for that) and immediately exit to the street. Switch characters and go right back in. Same for the cargo freighter for Hood in chapter 2. The other two (shield science station in ch 7 and ancient ruin in 9) are outside and you can switch characters immediately.

It will take you a bit longer the first couple of times you do it, but once you get the rhythm of it and have at least one character with the 4 waypoints you need, it isn’t too bad at all.

If anyone wants help getting the waypoints faster I’d be happy to assist. You just need a character with Superheroic unlocked.

the 60 points of spirit is tempting too as is the hp. Grinding can be boring enough, this is just pure busy work. lol

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks guys, will save me some time the next time I’m playing Thing…I never got any of the story stuff with him during the crazy-10 event.

Again, happy to help get waypoints for anyone that needs them.

Upcoming: Bounty Hunter Week starting May 9

Starting Friday afternoon, Pacific time, every three hours, two terminals will contain buffed loot and the super villain will drop A.R.M.O.R. Research Drives! We’ll posting a schedule on our website and forums.

Each difficulty of terminals give a different number of A.R.M.O.R. Research Drives! Cosmic Terminals give 3, Red Terminals give 2, and Green Terminals give 1.

Turn in your A.R.M.O.R. Research Drives for special items including new uniques, a new artifact, Ghost Boxes, and Costume Cores!

On Saturday, we’re giving a very special Bounty Box to anybody who logs in. If you were a fan of the Easter Basket, you might want to check this out…

On Sunday, we’ll be honoring Mother’s Day with a gift as well!

Bit bummed to find out that although BP has tons of abilities that cause dots, only one is an actual bleed. This greatly limits my application of mahts and the new unique from bounty hunter week

They need to introduce an NPC or object in-game that loads up their special event schedules (and the current time for the PST timezone) for things like this & Don’t Fear The Reaper.

So who would benefit? Maybe Wolverine after his update? Doesn’t the Savage Axe legendary apply bleeds now for its level 5? Axe plus the unique’s bleed bonus might be a fun combo.

Ech. There’s some inconsistency with that kind of thing in the game and wish they would fix it. Burns are another example. There are a bunch of powers you would think would be categorized as burns, but they aren’t (notably mental damage abilities like Ghost Rider’s Hellfire or Scarlet Witch.

Fom Bleed? Deadpool, Squirrel Girl (I think), Taskmaster, Nightcrawler, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, etc. I wouldn’t pick a unique like that based on a proc. it has to be something you are going to use routinely to be worth it.

A melee Deadpool build inflicts a lot of bleeds, especially with his slot 3 katanas (which also explode enemies that are still bleeding at time of death).

I’m really fearful of this event. The way it seems to be set up is that only the bosses of those terminals drop the ARMOR drives, and the cost of the event goodies are 300(!!!) for one unique, 225 for another, and 100 for the artifact on test.

I can’t imagine farming 100 cosmics over the course of a week. They take me probably 6-10 minutes depending on which it is (and they never seem to put events on Doc Oc or Shocker! :P ). So at 100 runs for 300 drives, and 10 minutes per run, we’re looking at 1000 minutes or about 20 hours. Fuck that! Even if it’s only 5 minutes, that’s 10 hours for the legendary.

I could, of course, farm them in roughly 45 seconds - 2 minutes on NC on reds, which is probably the most efficient way to do it, but that’s still something like 150 runs x 2 minutes = 5 hours.

I’m not really looking for an MMO grindfest in my ARPG, thanks! Gearing up is a decidedly different process, with random drops and all, from grinding out a currency.

Honestly, I don’t think the event uniques are all that great anyway. The one major advantage to getting them from an event vs as a drop (and other event uniques have been made available as drops) is that you can refresh the vendor until you get good stats.

But I agree, I don’t see putting that sort of effort in either, even if I had the time, which I don’t at the moment. Does look like there will be nice goodies for logging in, though, especially Saturday.

Mark VI fortune cards are out, and I got a bunch as part of the advance pack. And I got crazy lucky - pulled two of the spider-man team up and the Storm costume. Not that I have Storm, but I didn’t have any team-ups.

Yeah, I got the storm costume, which I don’t care for. Would have rather gotten Colossus. I did get a holo-crafter and stash access card, which is ok.

I like the extra loot in the terminals, and the potential of more boss specific loot. Not sure what loot will become boss specific though (not sure if its mentioned in the forums). I’m looking forward to seeing more about Psylocke in the next couple weeks. My enthusiasm is a bit dampened by seeing Invisible Woman though. It seems like they rushed Storm out a bit and still are tweaking her. At least the Psylocke in game model looks pretty good to start.

Started focusing on Gambit, using the melee tree mostly. Bo vault into a group, then grand slam, and bo beatdown anything left. I have street sweep maxed instead of bo beatdown, and thinking about just dropping street sweep, as I don’t use it much. Grand slam just seems to make street sweeper irrelevant. What am I missing with street sweeper? Also have put points into the signature, and one into house of cards which provides another nice kick in x-defense. Just got to level 43.

boss specific loot.

The spidey team-up seems close to a pay-2-win type feel. Kinda borderline for me. it does somethign non-cosmetic only that you can’t get elsewhere

Nice, on loot link, thanks.

You can buy the normal Spidey teamup in game with the eternity splinters. How does a team up with different costume effect game play?

Use them both at the same time=more dps. Street sweep is very efficient cost-wise compared to the damage it can do, and is one of Gambit’s only options to layer damage (the other being House of Cards). The other thing that makes street sweep a godsend is that it is tagged as melee, so you can use it to heal yourself without having to close all the way into melee range when you are dealing with bosses with nasty abilities.

Apparently they aren’t identical. The BiB Spidey TU has a ranged basic instead of melee. I could care less, honestly. I don’t see TUs as content in the same way as playable heroes. If they put an exclusive playable hero in a card pack, I’d understand this sort of reaction, but people are entitled to their opinion.

It doesn’t do anything different than the regular spidey team-up, does it? And that’s purchasable with splinters.

As MG mentioned it has a ranged basic instead of melee. This means that it’s actually ‘Superior’ (heh) to the basic spidey as a team-up since ranged team-ups stay away from one shot kills more often. It’s a small difference for sure, which is why I said it’s borderline. The simple fact that it actually DOES something functional in combat and isn’t available through any method other than random chance cash item is what could lead to bad things. I’ve seen dozens of games go this way and pretty much all of them eventually slid all the way down that slope. Hoping they catch this before it goes further.

Technically I guess you could also say the balloon animals were similar, just even less of an effect. Didn’t they give dodge buffs or def buffs or something and were only in card 2?

I may still be bitter at a couple games goign from f2p and fun/casual, to pay tons or don’t bother playing. Not that I think they will actually go that far, they seem to understand stuff. Ghost Recon Online, I’m looking at you. ;) (one of the best shooters I had ever played, especially with a group, that went from very cheap to spend HUNDREDS or lose every match. fuck that)
