A Midtown event would be great. I’d enjoy that more then the current event.

The Kurse terminal is the best designed terminal to me. Its both challenging at times, and you can’t just run directly for the boss. The opening bridge sequence, even on red difficultly, can let me know me know how well or badly the character is setup and/or equipped at times as well. Doom is just long, and the battle takes a bit too. Juggernaut’s terminal is fun as well, w/ the hordes of enemies that can sometimes overwhelm. I don’t particularly like Modok as I still find the layout painful, as well as Mandarins (though maybe just since I don’t run it often).

And then there is the Command Bunker with Pyro waiting. Pyro can be painful, especially when he was upgraded for the last big event. Magneto is a cake walk in comparison.

I think I only ran Taskmaster & Kurse over the weekend, so both were quick & easy to go straight to the boss with. Even with my Thor, who doesn’t roll with any movement powers.

Juggernaut is probably my favorite terminal, since the cosmic version had three chests, and the enemies love to gather together in convenient clumps for easy smachinations. I do love AIM, though.

Apparently, one of the things they are doing for the Midtown event is giving bosses a chance to drop their unique loot, that would normally only be available in terminals. Shame there isn’t a Doombot wave in Midtown.

I have to admit this is fair (at least as far as my melee build is concerned, perhaps you might want to try a range build), however the fun part of MK is that he’s the only character I’ve ever played in any game where I want to be low on health and spirit/mana. Avatar’s passive gives you crit rating increase as a function of health loss, and dmg rating increase as a function of spirit loss. So for me the fun is seeing how far you can push MK without using a medkit. It helps that I have 30k hp and a few items that gives a lot of benefits when below 50, 30, or 20% health.

I’m going to get all of the chars eventually lol. The next two will probably be Hulk and Strange for synergy reasons (I don’t have Cyclops yet but it’s not like it’s hard to level in this game).

Hulk’s synergy is awful. It’s base health, not total. Can be a fun character if you want a melee rampager, but wouldn’t get him for the synergy.

Pretty much everything they do is on Pacific time. Or at least the last several events that involve bosses in terminals/whatnot having boosted loot.

Apparently they’re injecting the first bit of new story content in a while as well. Sorta, anyway. It’s called a One-Shot, and it is a one off story about Man-Ape and a couple other villains attacking Wakanda, which will apparently be listed with the terminals and probably function similarly except with the motion comics and other story bits that are normally skipped in the terminal version of an area. I am all for this.

FYI, drop rate on uniques is rather high in the wakandan mine terminal. I expect it will be decreased. I’m averaging more than one per run. It does seem to have gotten harder since earlier, though.

I couldn’t keep the Dora alive on my 47 summoner SG. And my 60 BP did so the first go round only to face a 10 minute boss fight of utter tedium. Think I’ll wait for tuning.

Also no uniques that run, though got 6 (useless) cosmically.

Earlier I walked right through and it was comparable to a red terminal (maybe a tad harder)

Just ran my second one a few minutes ago and the trash mobs hit like a truck. Also Man-Ape seemed to have a gazillion hitpoints. Was much less fun
