“Here’s your fucking ending. While you were playing we took the liberty of formatting your C: drive. Because you let Tali die. How’s that for meaningful consequences?”
And where were you when we were finaling all this? ;)
Awesome if someone made a truly hardcore FPS which would format a random sector in your hard drive every time you got shot.
Normal mode would just BSOD you, forcing a reboot.

This may have been mentioned but how much do we have to replay to get to see this?
I finished this thing months ago and frankly have little desire to get my rating back up by grinding multi-player and my iPhone app just to play it all again to get a more fulfilling ending. I am kinda over the whole thing and just looking forward to Torchlight 2 and Guild Wars 2 because, well I want the purple ending, dammit.
I have a character all set to go on the new final run but even after all of this time, I am somewhat torn: Do I replay the ending unspoiled and gamble on them doing the right thing (by me) or do I risk another total letdown? I don’t doubt they will have less “plot holes”; I do have doubts about any resolution to the narrative failures. I have almost completely come to terms with a headcanon version of how I wanted it to end. Should I just leave my latest run-through on the precipice of the end, forever waiting for the good ending that will probably never come? At this point I have almost no faith in Bioware to pull this out.
The multiplayer, though, was so great for ME3; it really turned out to add a ton of life to the game for me. I may just let that be that and move on.
The last save the game makes for you, which I believe is right before the Cerberus mission.

That’s how I feel about it. The ending sucked, I bitched about it for about a week, and now I couldn’t care less. Even Bioware doesn’t get a second chance to make a first impression, and there are too many other games to play to even bother.
<Insert Dragon’s Dogma love here>
Dragon Dogma? the cliche ridden JRPG-WRPG wannabe? GTFO!
Had there been such an option I would definitely have taken it. Kind of like the option to walk away from the final battle in The Bard’s Tale.
Yeah - so when does this get released? Keep checking and I don’t see it.
Same for the Skyrim DLC, but that’s a different thread.

Live stream of the endings:
Still laughably bad and definitely not worth playing.
Seriously better than Skyrim.
So does anyone actually have the extended cut yet? Did you have to download/install as seperate DLC, or did it just auto-update the game? I can’t find anything on Origin about it at all.

Spoiler about the Control ending
It’s only on XBL at the moment. No idea when it will be on Origin. Obviously, we were silly to play it on the PC.
Looks like it’s supposed to be up by noon MST on Origin.
How important is it to avoid these spoilers? Is it worth waiting for the surprise? I don’t care that much about the ending. When I do my second playthrough I probably won’t get the good ending, so I may have to go to YouTube anyway. I’m tempted to find out what they changed and get it over with now.
My reaction - Nope, still not interested in what they do with it in the future.
I’ve run through them all, and while this would have been better from the start, they do backpedal on a few things, which leaves me lukewarm.
The ending is still full of bizarre left turns but I’m past the point of caring about it. :)
(I’m not spoilering the below because this is a spoiler thread.)
They did add an “I choose not to choose from your choices, star brat” option, and it’s like a giant middle finger to people who brought that up because in that ending the Reapers win - the kid angrily says “SO BE IT” in a super-evil voice and then after some quick explosions it cuts to someone finding Liara’s time capsule. I think they did that just to watch NeoGAF consume itself.
