Elex has one companion at a time I think.
I don’t want to get you too excited. It’s a decent game and it’s as close as (fantasy) Mass Effect as you can get, but while there’s a tactical pause there’s little point in giving companions commands. There’s no positioning or anything. You can change their equipment and they are important for the story though.
GreedFall is from Spiders. All their games are like low-rent aughts BioWare. Mind the tunnels, ledges…
My only real problem with GreedFall is it overstays its welcome. It’s fine.
