YO SPOILERS YO

I actually think this is the most interesting element of ME3’s ending. Shepard has to cripple the galactic infrastructure by destroying the mass relays in order to stop the Reapers. So Shep saves the galaxy but has to plunge it into a kind of Dark Age to do so. Since so many RPGs are about protecting the status quo from Some Dark & Eeeevil Menace, it’s pretty cool to have an ending which radically shakes up the game-universe.

What a pity it’s handled in such an abrupt, shitty manner that not even Bioware seemed to be aware of its full implications…

@rei, really didn’t like that aspect of the story, either. Seems like an important and disturbing thing was almost glossed over. Especially when you were supposed to have been affected by what happened to Kelly earlier (assuming you didn’t force her to join your crew).

Hrm…what happened to Kelly? I think I missed that part…

I chose poorly when it came to Kelly…sigh

you tell her to change her identity so she survives the cerberus invasion of the citadel.

I don’t think I even ran into her at all…where is she? I’ll have to look for her in my “final” playthrough once I get all the DLC.

In the dock area. She saved your fish.

I never bought the fish…dammit!

Apparently you have to flirt with her to the point where you invite her to dinner in ME2, otherwise she won’t show up in ME3 at all. Which sucks, because the flirty choices with her were groan-worthy, and I’m a faithful guy, dammit.

I’ll chime in here that I really enjoyed Citadel. Second best DLC, after the Shadow Broker one.

You can flirt it up all you want with her, and even have her dance in her gimp suit in your cabin without affecting love interest loyalty. Liara from ME1 kept on trucking for me as long as I didn’t sample the Traynor Treats.

That Traynor/She-pard shower scene is the most cringe-inducing scene in ME3. That is saying something, considering it is a game choke full of cringe-inducing moments.

Oh, Mordin.

Oh, supposedly there was a Joker + Wrex meetup in Citadel DLC I missed.

So I found this out after all the emails/map markers exhausted themselves, you just have to go back to the apartment and then show up at the bar to trigger Joker. Then you go back to apartment and leave, then go back to casino bar for the “wait for Wrex” to appear.

I also checked “mail” on the datapad app and it’s the most inane thing ever. Email from the ingame characters.

One of those points where I really, really, really hate their paragon/renegade wheelie thing. “Keep doing good” or “Change your Identity” are not mutually exclusive choices, but by placing them as they do, they make it appear so - and furthermore make it seem as if you are being obnoxious to recommend she stay safe (which - given some of the results you get with renegade options - wouldn’t have surprised me). Grrr…

Doesn’t help that the way she allegedly goes is just idiotic.

Did I mention how much I hate their paragon/renegade wheelie thing?

I think Kelly shows up if you successfully rescue the crew from the Collector base; you don’t have to sleep with her.

Well being a paragon doesn’t always lead to ‘good’ outcomes.

Gets rid of fucking starkid.

I don’t mind that. I do hate the false dichotomies and choice descriptions that occasionally bear little connection to what is eventually said (a problem with both the paragon and renegade options). In this case, it doesn’t feel as if being a paragon led to a less good option (how is requesting her to be careful of her ID a renegade option?), it just feels as if the designer decided that they wanted to screw over the paragon route a bit.
