Ok ok, now I understand, it wasn’t a time limit of the “main quest” (“you have to defeat the Collectors”!) but only a time limit that started on the rescue part. It makes sense. I didn’t wasted any time around that part, because precisely my methodical way of playing meant I already did everything available before advancing and reaching that mission.

Yeah I think it’s two. It’s just enough time to do Legion’s loyalty and take Legion with you on Tali’s loyalty mission for the irony.

How did it start killing people off if you do not go through the relay in time? I thought everyone started dying after you went through the relay.

Did you not play ME2? They abducted your crew, and the longer you take to rescue them, the more are dead when you get there.

Tim James:

To anyone who’s played it: I’d like another confirmation that we can change our class after importing a save.

When I imported my ME2 save, the character was a soldier. I was given a list to choose a new class going into ME3. The character is now an adept. So, yes, I am 100% positive you can change your class.

P.S. Unfortunately, you can’t change your sex. I’m stuck doing another ME3 playthrough as that uptight annoying stuffed shirt dude. But at least now it won’t be weird if I decide to do one of those silly little Bioware romance things for the first time ever. Other than banging Jessica Chobot and then throwing her off my ship, of course.

Did you already play it without importing your save? If not, why not create a new character and play it that way?

Or just go: http://www.masseffect2saves.com and pick one with some differences.

Tom - when is the embargo up? I keep going back and forth on if I want to pick this up. I really wish the embargo would have lifted over the weekend - what a rediculous situation. Sigh.

Newegg just charged my Amex and sent a tracking number. Woot. And kudos to Newegg for not charging me before shipping. I don’t think Amazon does that.

Now I have to finish my ME2 “this time I have all the DLC” playthrough before it shows up.

I just saw on the 24 hour IGN feed, that players can buy the MP reward chests with actual xbox points as well as Mass Effect credits. Let the internet outrage begin.

It’s an enormous boondoggle, and I imagine EA is going to make a killing. They’re basically selling CCG booster packs. Do you grind missions to unlock weapons, characters, mods, and consumables, or do you throw EA a couple of bucks?
