i hate a lot of the writing and changes from the original trilogy but 42% off is a good price. i have put nearly 300 hours into it.
To be fair, there were some pretty crappy casual outfits in ME3 as well. Don’t think ME2 was quite as bad.
Not to mention the one outfit on an NPC outside the bar (in ME3) that basically had a hole cut out of the back of the pants. Makes it easy to take a dump, I guess, but still.
Let the terrible casual bonus outfits be the worst sin this cream-of-wheat-bland mockery of Mass Effect commits, and I would have been overjoyed.

That’s wonderful, I hope the investors got their questions answered. As for me, I think the best description of my mindset would be bitter disappointment. I wrote an email to Bioware thanking them for the game, since I figured the reviews were probably giving them a skewed opinion of its reception - the majority may not like the way Andromeda turned out, but I had a great time with my experience and I wanted someone to know. I guess short of playing through again, it will be a while until I get another big space RPG.
Just a bummer all around.
I’m playing ME:A and it’s enjoyable. It’s not much different in terms of gameplay to the last several Bioware games though, and I wonder if people were getting kind of tired of the same old formula?
Plus, lest we forget, BioWare Montreal wasn’t the entity that made the decision to push this out the door in order to make the fiscal year end. I feel like they got a bum deal here.

Their final result was kind of sub-par for the ME series after FIVE years of development though.

one of the party companions’ banter includes a comment about how SAM is ALWAYS listening and how all the party can hear/talk to each other at all times. kind of disturbing. like always on siri/alexa.
