According to Reuters, Bitar has charged Diab, former interior minister Nouhad Machnouk and former public works minister Ghazi Zeaiter with homicide with probable intent. Also among those charged, Reuters added, are Prosecutor General Ghassan Oweidat, the head of Lebanon’s domestic intelligence agency Major General Abbas Ibrahim, and former army commander Jean Kahwaji, and other current and former security and judicial officials.
