I could swear we have already lived this moment. Groundhound day style.

edit: and btw, the “block stealing” is totally speculation from my part. No one knows what they do, we only have the screenshot as info. Some people said that mabe they are neutral npcs who build stuff. Othesr, hostile critters that fight hurling blocks. Me, they are thieves of blocks.

It’s a miserable host and camera work but, my god…
a tour of Middle Earth.
skip ahead if you can’t stand the constant camera whips.

Well, up until this point Minecraft still isn’t a “game”, it lacks objectives besides whatever you set yourself to do so it’s an almost pure sandbox; that said, and fearing I might be repeating myself, Minecraft is still lacking content, craftables, engaging NPC’s, proper biome integration, but well, we all know this is truefax and I doubt that this will all change much in the coming month or even when they release in November (?).

And while I think the Aether mod is awesome I still want Notch and Mojang to make Vanilla Minecraft better, mods are all fine and dandy but what about having the actual dev(s) put more “stuff” in.

And this is why options are awesome. For me, creepers blowing up my shit is one of the very few challenges in the game. Not to say I dont curse a bit when my beautiful glass archway is shattered into little pieces following the dreaded “Sssssss”…

I remember one specific thing: Minecraft skyrocketing fame began a few weeks after the survival mode was implemented. Not before.

Seriously: woah.

Supposedly Notch is a man with a plan and a brain.

He is going, I think, to preserve the builders game, but also build the gamers game.

Just saw that on my Twitter feed. Sounds awesome!!

“Don’t look away. Don’t even blink.”

Slenderman wink wink

Also, creepy because

“They run TOWARDS you, not away. So if you happen to look at one, do not look away.”

:D

Weeping Angels

The Amazopack has some insanely fun stuff:

wait wut

That don’t look like a safe for childrens mob. It seems some of these psychological monsters that adults may enjoy but that are a bit too much for childrens.

But I have never been a children, so I don’t know.

Here’s a description of their behaviour. Notch says “dont read if you consider these spoilers!”

Coming away from this post, I get the feeling Notch is a game design genius.

Well, i get the feeling he watches Dr. Who. XD
But yeah, they sound creepy and fun to encounter. Though i will reserve the title of “game design genius” when he designs a game in his game :P.

So … basically a Witch, then.

I played with the latest Yogbox release a bit last night, and…fuck Elemental Creepers. Well okay, not all of them. Quickly leaping for safety after being surrounded by a sea of fire = still fun. Using up whole shovels to dig out a large room and nearby tunnels that are now completely filled with dirt = NOT FUN. It wouldn’t be so bad if they couldn’t fill such a huge space. Regular creepers seem a lot more deadly, too; I’ve died just from being on the edge of their blast even at full health (well, 7 hearts so far) and half armour.

That’s uhh… good, I think.

And 3 million SOLD!
