I want to take down my second, incomplete building in the frontier. However, I do not want to spend forever chopping it down. Would anyone be opposed to me bending the rules just to summon enough tnt to bring it down? I promise to use redstone that I mined. We can pretend that aliens invaded or something.

Whoa. I just did some epic exploring deep in the Frontier. Uncovered a lot of sand biomes. I totally wanna make a crazy structure way out in the boonies, but I’m afraid of getting lonely.

Server’s working for me at the moment, might have just been a temporary hiccup or try redownloading your client.

It looks like the overview map isn’t rendering the new blocks; I think you might still have to update the ~/.minecraft/bin/ directory on the server with the latest client (and probably purge the cache to make it rerender).

There is a way to get cloth. I had forgotten, but 9 string = 1 cloth. Find a spider spawner.

Monster spawners appear to have been disabled (or now follow the regular monster setting) as of the last patch, unfortunately. I think that leaves dungeon chests as the only place to get string now. (Edit: And it’s not like you can even kill them as long as damage is still bugged in SMP anyway…)

Who made this? It’s amazing, as is everything around it. Very well done, inspiring, and unique.

Also, I made this. Took about 3 hours to gather all the sand and transport it, then build the damn thing. Not sure what it is, but I like it. :)

I am left wondering by NikB747’s comment whether someone finally noticed the grafting I did to one of your reeds. It appears you can make a reed whatever height you want.
