It’s so good, in fact, that I don’t want to see the movie, lest the experience ruin the title for me.
As someone who watched it, you’re better off.
And it mostly delivers. Though Kung Fu Hustle is a better film, and has more confident direction and production. Shaolin Soccer, despite being rough at places, is ultimately a fun movie.
I’ve seen them both and agree, but Kung Fu Hustle for me isn’t a title that makes me want to see the movie.
