Moving save games between PS3s

Are all game saves supposed to be transferrable between my PS3s if I have PS+? I ask because I wanted to move my Bioshock 1 save from my bedroom PS3 to my den PS3, and when I hit the options button it showed the “move save game - PS+” but it was dimmed out.

Do some games not allow this or do I need to dig into my settings?

Dunno, but I’ve used a thumb drive to move saves around from one PS3 to another for any game I’ve needed to in a matter of minutes.

Some games restrict/block copying of save files.

Ah, important safety tip. Huh.

Cloud saving with PS+ should get around the save protection, but I think it only lets you move it once every 24 hours.
