Music I just listened to and just had to freaking share

My favorite NIN instrumental

It’s such an amazing build, by a master of amazing builds.

That understated drum loop at the end… the first time I heard this I knew I had just witnessed something. Very few artists have the capacity to illuminate some type of religious experience, but for me it was like a ray shining into an immensely deep valley.

And for good measure, this adorable fellow

Nice. I inherited this album on vinyl from my parents.

I think Telephone and Rubber Band was used over the end credits of Oliver Stone’s Talk Radio.

God, I miss Lowell George.

Mop!

My favourite always was Music for a found harmonium.

stay to the end, it gets really crazy. One of Europes best harpsichord players of her time, Elizabeth Chojnacka.

That sounds very modern to my ears. When was this music written?

Well it’s written for harpsichord, so it must be really old like, maybe 1670, 1980 or so.

Never been that much of a Jack White fan, but it looks like he tore the roof off on SNL. That band of his is sweet. If this is how all his stuff sounds now, maybe I am a fan after all.

She’s a witch! Burn her!

This is from the soundtrack of Children of Men, I always get goose bumps when that scene happens in the movie and the music sets in. Watch the movie now! Or listen to the music.

If anyone is a fan of golden age hip hop, De La Soul’s back catalogue is finally out of music rights hell and is on streaming services starting today. Also, RIP Trugoy.
