I literally just discovered my main drive in my new (built earlier this year) PC is also flaking on me…
Samsung’s software is shit. Laughing at them, trying to sell me new devices while this nearly brand new one dies.
My GIGABYTE AORUS NVMe Gen4 M.2 drive I got in March died after about 3 months of use.
The RMA took forever too.
But the 2nd one seems to be working better.
I wonder if the placement of the NVMe contributes to their failing. Mine sits right under the video card, which I would think would be pretty hot. Maybe not I guess if the chips are up on the side and this sits below.
