My GF's Chromebook "runs slow"

So, I’m in the middle of a touch troubleshooting challenge. My GF is mentioning her 2015 Toshiba Chromebook “runs slow.” It seems the biggest issue is some of her facebook chess games, but she has mentioned overall internet slowness.

I am not sure what cleanup tasks I can do. I’m not sure if this is like Windows and every few years a nuke from orbit is in order or not.

Easy. Perform a factory reset.

Yeah, that is what I am leaning towards. I’m not sure if she has any data stored locally but I will check.
