You know what I would love to see with one of the pay services that lets you “borrow” the music for a monthly fee? I would love to have the thing upload playlists to my MP3 player with out me having to pick out songs. Like one of the really great things about the radio is that sometimes you will hear something fresh that you may not have known about.
Sure I could stream rip and have the same kinda thing but really with all the music that napster has you would think they would offer something like that.
Like a hip hop play list and alternative one and stuff. I suck at making play lists that are actually worth a shit and this would help me out a ton as well as introduce me to new music.
If you’re listening to music on your computer, Internet Radio is fabulous for this purpose.
But you’re right… you’d think Napster or one of the sub. services would figure this out. But then they barely have any MP3 players that even work with their services, so maybe (hopefully) they’ll tackle that little issue first.
It would be annoying though. In order to keep it a subscription service, the mp3s on device would have to expire after a certain amount of time, else you could keep them after your subscription was out.
