I remember running into some sort of tricky direct8 issue last time I ran it. The workarounds were more troubles than expected, as @magnet mentionned, and I ended up running the game in Wine, where it fared really well (but ironically, I think you can’t use Wine in windows).
That game is too hardcore for me anyway, what was I thinking!
