They will get an invite, but per Wilner and Canzano (two of the best Pac-12 writers), this deal won’t be done this week, and will come after the Media Rights package (and the UCLA/CA Regents discussions 11/15-17).
IMHO, the Pac-12 (minus UCLA/USC, assuming UCLA here, pending mass insanity from the Regents), should also be kicking the tires hard on Fresno St to lock up CA - Scuzz - any news from your area on that?

Fresno State would do anything to get in the PAC. They have tried for 20 years to interest the league. I would love to see it happen, and we have the facilities, but I just don’t think it will.
My thought is that by grabbing SDSU/ Fresno St, they world be grabbing as much of CA as they can, while also preventing a Big12 raid on CA.
Makes a lot more sense to me than UNLV/SMU or other names I’ve seen bandied about.

Is there some reason that Boise State isn’t under consideration?
Because the Idaho TV market is not worth a hill of beans, so they don’t bring in much revenue. Idaho is also not exactly a recruiting ground like SoCal is. And their academics make the worst P12 school look like Stanford.

True, Boise is a limited market probably.
Fresno is a metropolitan area of nearly a million people now. I have heard it argued in the past that since PAC schools like to recruit here they wouldn’t want Fresno in the league.

Prop 3, in Michigan, is the Women’s reproductive rights in the State Constitution proposal.
For Prop 3: Support women’s right to choose.
Against Prop 3: Support all that is MAGA.

Not for the first time. He was part of an anti abortion fund raiser this summer where he auctioned off Michigan swag. He took some heat for that one as well, with many people upset that he was using U of M to fund raise for a hot button political issue.
He is apparently quite religious and right-wing.

Not sure the history, but when I attended a game at TCU in ~2018 or so they used the HypnoToad whenever the opposing team was kicking a FG/PAT. A search says they started using it in ~2015. Attended a game this season, the awesome OSU brawl, and the HypnoToad was everywhere, on the big screen, and on posters carried by fans and such.
Of course the HypnoToad is the unofficial weird mascot for TCU. The official but still weird mascot, the Horned Frog (which is really a toad), is a Texas native species that is both horned/spiny but also can shoot blood from its eyes.
Ted Cruz wishes he was half as cool as the Horned Frog.
Looking forward to playing you all when Cincinnati joins the Big XII next season. Should be some great games between two good teams.
Pretty sure it’s a lizard. At least the ones in Texas are.
