i agree with one caveat. If Michigan goes into Columbus and plays a great game but loses by a close score, then they still have a shot as a one loss team. But outside of that scenario, yeah they pretty much need to beat OSU to get in.

UVA showed similarly strong support for VT after their mass shooting in 2007, and VT has not forgotten that. Hoos4Hokies in 2007 may have even slightly predated hashtags, and VT has returned that tribute in kind. The breadth of support from well outside the ACC was a bit of a surprise, such as Oregon painting the three hash marks on their field that corresponded to the player’s jersey numbers.

UVA has a new head coach this year, and all the former coaches who are working at other schools wore UVA gear on their sidelines during games yesterday.

HBC returns to play the hits:

Can’t spell Citrus without UT

I am not surprised at the felony assault charge. I am surprised at the other charges. Fights between football players happen pretty much every week and they generally let the the universities handle it and keep it out of the courts.

Did you see the pictures? This wasn’t a fight. It was a circle of MSU players surrounding a single UM player and giving him a beatdown, ncluding using a helmet as a weapon.

I know you are from the area, I’m sure you’ve seen it. Personally I hope they make an example of them.

Maybe on the field but this took place off the field and was basically an assault, not a fight.

I am not arguing right or wrong here. And I wont, its a waste of time. I am just saying that I am surprised they filed the misdemeanor charges. There is a history of that not happening and not just for on field altercations. There is also a history of incidents in Michigan’s tunnel and I figured that would factor in. Anyway, now that they have, it changes things. Hopefully for the better.

Without the video they would not have prosecuted.

Talking to my brother earlier today, I said if Michigan is going to beat OSU without Corum ( which they basically are ) then JJ is going to have to play the game of his life and probably carry the load for the offense. He has done just that. Its not over yet but Michigan looks pretty good at this point. There is still most of the 4th left so the D has to play strong for another 13 minutes. If they do, Michigan will probably get in the playoffs once again. The other thing is that if OSU gets this loss instead of Michigan it makes it much tougher for the 1 and 2 loss teams to jump in. It looks like Clemson is playing themselves out of any chance as well.

Either team losing is probably out of the BCS.

Go Michigan.

I don’t like Harbaugh but I dislike Ohio State more.

It’s a good thing they don’t use the BCS system anymore then…

Georgia, TCU, Undefeated B1G champion. If USC wins out they’re probably in. If not, who do you put in over an 11-1 team whose only loss is to #2?

Ryan Day…

I think its become moot as Michigan is now spanking OSU.

You hate to see it.

If LSU beats Georgia they both get in.

And OSU just hasn’t dominated as in past years, the BIG is weak this year and this game has become a blow out.

I realize the BCS is gone but everyone knew what I meant.

USC will lose to ND tonight.

There is going to be some complaints when the final 4 are named.

Holy shit

Nice seeing Clemson lose as well.

The Oregon-Oregon State game uniforms are blinding.

Yeah, this would be the perfect year for an expanded playoff (or else a three-team one of UGA, UM, and TCU). There are a half-dozen teams with a decent argument for being #4.
