Neal Peart, drummer for Rush has died

Never got to see King Crimson in concert (or Emerson, Lake and Palmer, or Renaissance–I have great regrets missing all of those.)

I only saw them once, in their most recent, three-drummer incarnation, and it was something special. Recordings don’t do them justice. Just wish I could have seen the '71-'73 lineup in person.

Concert regrets. I’ve got some.

I saw Rush twice in the '80s and once relatively recently on the Clockwork Angels tour. I enjoyed them then & am especially glad now that they are probably over.

I’d also seen EL&P, Yes, and Genesis at least a few times each in the '80s, so have a relatively good prog background.

One of my most cherished concert memories is of catching Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble. That band was tight and he was amazeballs.

But wow do I so wish I’d scrimped and saved for those Who and Zeppelin tickets when I was a poor teenager!!
