Yesterday when the cancellation news came down, I was thinking “I wonder if some other network will swoop in and take this.”
But her online behavior in the last 12 hours, veering wildly from remorse to defiance to tweeting more racist bullshit would have any network or content platform out there thinking “Yeah, no way.”

She still thought it was a good idea so the fact it was for a Jewish magazine doesn’t mean much to me. If one of my black friends asks me to do a photo shoot dressed in a white Klan outfit, hanging various mock ups of black men from trees, and repeatedly shouting the N word over & over, I’m going to have to take a pass.

Rosanne’s future depends on who she listens to.
If she listens to her alt-right fanbase, her future is with Alex Jones and other crazy people, talking to the same couple million people over and over.
If she listens to her PR agent, who she hopefully hires, her future is six months in “rehab,” followed by six more months without touching a computer, followed by a comeback tour.
I suppose it depends on if she gets back on her meds which of those two futures she has.
Again, I’m not defending her Hitler photo shoot. I’m just reminding folks that in that particular case, a Jewish satire magazine thought it was funny enough to run with it as a feature. It wasn’t Roseanne doing it unprompted on her Instagram or something.

The silver thread in this was when Barr, finally able to look deeply at herself and her actions, came to the sorrowful understanding that her words had hurt people, that she was genuinely apologetic, and resolved to use her vast wealth to work towards healing that schism.
