Not really related, but all this talk of the KKK made me remember when I was in a town near Salamanca, Spain, during the Easter celebrations.

I had just stumbled out of a bar, was a bit sozzled and on my own, going back to the youth hostel/English language summer camp, when I turned onto the main street and saw a procession in front of me, about 10 metres away, coming towards me.

We need leadership that is willing to say no to this stuff. Now we have leadership that encourages it to solidify their base of power.

I’m a bit old and tired but I will donate money in 2020 for the elections. I knocked on doors for Obama in 2008 and McCaskill in 2012 but I think I’m done with that. I will give money, though.
