Saw it the first time it aired, was quite interesting. Certainly not a new phenomenon though, didn’t they find a lot of gang-symbols spraypainted around baghdad when that city was occupied by the US ca 2003-2006? indicating gangs had infiltrated the army back then also - probably caused by the lax requiring requirements to meet quotas?
Just a shame PBS is trying to block non-US IPs from viewing their documentaries.
