Wasnât it Dick Cheney who liked to be compared to Darth Vader? So this must be an extremely clever way of saying that heâs been purged by establishment Republicans but will be back to haunt them. Itâs gotta be 3-dimensional chess. I mean, itâs not like White House staff would be so juvenile as to get in cat fights with each other and then quote Star Wars movies about it.

Did he? I thought the Cheney-Vader reference emerged from places like Talkning Points Memo and Crooks and Liars and not by Cheney himself. Hell, I bet heâs never seen a Star Wars movie to begin with.
He didnât start it, but he embraced the comparison eventually. He quipped at the Radio and TV correspondents dinner one year that when he asked his wife if it bothered her that people made that comparison, she replied, âit humanizes you.â

The idea that people can be more powerful outside of the White House is insane, but thatâs what insane people say when they get fired.
My theory is that Gorka is actually a deeply committed method actor for a James Bond villain, who got so deep into the role he ended up in the Trump administration. Iâm glad that, even now, he refuses to drop character.
âSome very fine people.â
Well before a white nationalist âUnite the Rightâ demonstration turned deadly in Charlottesville this month, attendees were planning for violence, according to leaked online chats. In private chat channels, they shared advice on weaponry and tactics, including repeatedly broaching the idea of driving vehicles through opposition crowds. After the vehicular attack which killed counterprotestor Heather Heyer, users of the channel celebrated the event.
For another, the pardon is a signal to those who might be tempted to make deals with the special investigator as the Russia probe closes in on the White House: Donât worry, Iâll protect you.
This is exactly what it does. The fact that it plays to his crazy-ass base and adds to his ego because Arpaio always endorsed him is icing on the cake.
So, after thinking about it over the weekend, Iâve figured out the unstated goal of the Alt-Right (and Trumpists):
Affirmative Action for Whites.

Well and the clear signal that all Trump cares about is personal loyalty. He doesnât even care about accomplishing policy, since the only policy Trump cares about is getting more for Trump. It really is mind boggling conservatives think this guy is one of them.
Especially after the first question from the first primary debate was âAre you one of us?â And Trump was like, âNope, not necessarily.â

I honestly donât know whatâs gonna come out of this⌠Trump is so addle brained that I could see him doing really idiotic stuff, just because he was needled by breitbart.
What is a âglobalistâ anyway? Is there some coherent concept of what it means? Like someone who thinks the UN maybe shouldnât be disbanded, or that the U.S. maybe shouldnât swing its dick around without any consideration for the other 6.7 billion people in the world? Or does it go straight into New World Order/Protocols of the Elders of Zion/Illuminati batshitland?

Itâs just like, the opposite of nationalist.
The way these guys use it, they donât really know what words mean, so itâs basically interchangable with crap like âCuckâ.

This article breaks down âglobalist.â Basically, it refers to non-isolationists and/or Jews.

âJew.â
But in theory itâs people who are anti-nationalist and pro-globalization, usually for business reasons.
