Netflix Friends

Fuck I love that movie. “Sniping” doesn’t quite convey the backstabbing, treason, hot manlove, and brushes with assassination that make that movie so utterly awesome. You also neglected to mention how great Katharine Hepburn and Anthony Hopkins are as Eleanor and Richard.

When I visit my parents for the holidays, the only two absolute must-watch Christmas films every year are this one and Ernest Saves Christmas. Preemptively: Fuck you, I don’t have to justify myself to you.

I’m gonna have to check out Becket. O’Toole is so freakin great.

I would, but I’m too busy watching movies. Just rate them for me. Thanks, man.

I’m showing 70% compatibility with Tom’s ratings.

Which is pretty interesting, given that about 1/4 of my rentals have been kids movies and superhero cartoons for my four-year-old. :)

Anyone looking for an eclectic mix of foreign films, cheesy aviation movies, classic SF, and old superhero cartoons, my friends link is >>here<<.

The problem here Tom, is that if I add you, you’ll now my real name, as my real name is my netflix name.

Oh well. It’s only Tom “Fake Last name” Chick. :)

Won’t you be my friend?

Ooh, 57% similarity, Tom. Also, you’re slacking on the movie ratings.

I don’t know why I find this so interesting, but here is my Friends link.

Oh yeah, here’s mine: http://www.netflix.com/BeMyFriend/P5W3UzplDfYyVH34m5kw

Mesmerizing. You have a remarkable stomach for movies you don’t like Tom! Definitely an interesting way to find movies you otherwise might not stumble across though.

Here’s my Netflix friends link.

Right, sorry. My name’s Harry, and I’m a lurker.

Only 65% compatibility with The Entity here, but man Tom, rate more movies. I’m at 2149 rated!

The interesting thing about Netflix is that they pretty much have me pegged when it comes to predicting what I’m going to like now. I only wish I could rate in half-star increments like they do.

I’m Jason with the really German sounding last name. On Netflix. :)

Here’s my link: http://www.netflix.com/BeMyFriend/PdejfFA66VANZiinw3Af

I am only 62% with Tom. Tom, the last four movies - where the hell did you get those ideas from?

I’m 69% with Tom, but he’s rated 1000+ movies, and I’ve only rated like 70, so it could easy converge or diverge from there. Also, I don’t know if I can REMEMBER 1000 movies, let alone whether or not I liked each one. That’s crazy, Tom!

Also, my Netflix history is really screwed up. I’ve temporarily ‘canceled’ my account a bunch of times, so in my queue it looks like I’ve had some movies for months, heh. Still, friend me at

Secretary and I share our Netflix account, so it has my name (Andrew M.) attached to it…

I got everyone on this list, but if you want to add us to yours, our click on the link below…

Why are you sharing a Netflix account with you secretary? Also, are there two Andrew M’s on this forum or has there been another name change, Wader?

When I was a boy, I always imagined my dad had a secretary. I watched a lot of 60s sitcom reruns and I just thought every man who worked in an office had a female secratary. Whenever I called Dad at the office and a woman answered the phone, I always asked if she were my dad’s secretary. I can’t tell you how dissapointed the first time Dad’s colleague told me she wasn’t his secretary. If you’re not my dad’s secretary, why are you answering his phone?? Back in the day they shared a phone in my dad’s office. Growing up is hard.

edit to say - As much as I would love to make it on the name change graphic,

There hasnt been a name change… I am one of at least 3 different Andrew M’s which post on QT3, which is why Tom thanked me when I didnt want to make my forum name have Andrew or M in it…

As for the first question, I never said she was my secretary…

Well, as far as I’m concerend, your (and secretary’s) movie choices will now be attributed to all the Andrew M.'s on the forum. :)

Well done!
