Robert Redford’s The Conspirator is up. It is no 1313: UFO Invasion, but it has some solid performances, and is much more entertaining than the reviews make it out to be.

How about a movie for a middle aged woman? Tearjerker or a feel good kind of thing. Netflix just shows me war movies and flims with women with blood on their face.

Watched the entire season of Lilyhammer this past weekend and loved it.

Didn’t think the premise would work or that Van Zandt would pull off being a lead star but the show is fantastic! Excellently written, very funny, and aside from Van Zandt holding his own (really, I could not imagine anyone in this role after watching the entire show), there is just great acting all around, with many of the secondary actors being very well developed with their own interesting story lines.

It will be a long wait for the next season due to Springsteen being on the road.

Exactly. The animated movies are fine (not the same quality as DC, but then what is?) but those goddamned motion comics aren’t easily discernible from the titling or cover.

For anybody that hasn’t I do recommend watching the first 5 minutes of a motion comic, because they’re fascinating in a train-wreck kind of way. You wonder who could possibly have thought it was a good idea.
