I think I meant Curb. However, the delivery and energy remind me more of Arrrested.

Ok, watched it and it was a ton of stupid fun. I also agree with Moore in that this guy could do a good Inframan film.

I’ve been on a documentary kick…
Chemerical
Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead
Forks Over Knives
Cleanflix
American Teacher
Indie Game: The Movie
Winnebago Man
Being Elmo

All were interesting in their own way.

That was possibly the greatest thing I’ve seen all year.

3 seasons of Wallander became available today. Kenneth Branagh giving one the best performances of his career. Mystery/police procedural, extremely naturalistic, half the time you have no idea where the case is going and neither do the police. You wonder how the hell are they gonna figure it out? Later, you think, Damn, it must suck to be a cop. You think that a lot watching these episodes. Kurt Wallander’s personal life is an absolute, heartbreaking mess. Brilliant show. And the novels it’s based on are very fine as well.

Sounds fantastic. Added to q.

Same here. I only added the Kenneth Branagh version though. Is the other series on Instant watch with Scandinavian names the original?

Sleepwalk with Me is pretty good.

OMG THEY HAVE THE WEST WING OMG

Merry freaking Christmas! ;-)

I find it humorous that every Netflix instant que link still contains “WiiMovie” from when they first activated it on the Wii.

Oh man, finally! I’ve been watching it for the first time on Amazon and I’m so sick of their player after making it to Season 3.

Yeah, I heard their player was crap. Is this your first time watching the show?

Awesome. Might be time for a third time through the series now that I don’t have to load up 35 freaking DVDs.

Yeah, that’s how I’ve been doing it. On my second go through now (girlfriend’s first) and we’re stalled on season 5, which is totally understandable.

I just loaded up one of my favorite episodes, Celestial Navigation, and I’m just a grinning idiot right now. :)

“I had woot canal…”

On my first time through the series, I almost stalled on Season 3. I didn’t enjoy that season at all. Episodes like “Women of Qumar” (“they beat their women in Qumar!”) were so ridiculous, and CJ’s whole subplot of being interested in someone and blah blah blah all just combined to almost make me not care about the show anymore. But I’m glad I stuck with it, because Season 3 ended amazingly (isn’t that were Bartlett shouts at God in latin?) and Season 4 was even better. Season 5 was rough again, but I didn’t find it as bad as Season 3. And then Season 6 picked it up again with new characters and a new upcoming election. Overall I was very happy with the show, though if I were to watch it again, I’d probably skip a lot of Seasons 3 and 5.

See, I love seasons 1-3, season 4 is mostly great but you can tell Sorkin is on his way out, season 5 is…ugh…then seasons 6 and 7 are great again.

I’m kind of more with Rock8man. Season 3 had some good individual episodes and it ended strongly, but I was not a fan of the interminable MS storyline or the senior staff’s whiny moping reaction to it.

Season 4 started off strong with two of my favorite WW episodes (the 2-parter “20 hours In America”). True, it ends with the terminally stupid “Zoe Kidnapped” story arc, but the re-election wrangling along the way is a lot of fun. Plus, it gives Mary Louise Parker in her prime quite a lot of screen time.

20 Hours in America is sooooo good. Toby snapping is always a good time.

It’s not Wii as in the Nintendo Wii, it’s Wi as in “Watch Instantly”. One “i”. :)

Yep, first time as I just somehow missed it when it was airing (and why I skipped the next few messages in case there are spoilers!) Really liking it so far though it gets a little hammy at times. Also just realized a few episodes into season 3 that the annoying consultant has been erased from the show without any fanfare. I thought she was sporadically appearing in season 2 but Wiki tells me they dropped her after the 1st season!
