This was probably mentioned pages ago, but for those who may have missed it, The Fall with Gillian Anderson is a wonderfully written and acted serial killer/police drama from BBCsomething. It is just a 5 episode season, but I watched all five in a row yesterday and was riveted throughout. Gillian Anderson is wonderful. I’ll try to post more thoughts when I have time or maybe search the thread for someone who already said what I would poorly attempt to say later.

Wow, they have “You only live once” AND “You only live twice”. It it a real shame that one isn’t a sequel to the other.
As for actual recommendations, well. They have “Swimming with Sharks” which I quite liked. They also have “Monkeybone”. I actually watched “Monkeybone” in the theater when it came out. I couldn’t really remember if I liked it or not, so I watched it again. It’s not good. High marks for weirdness and unique visual style, but the story makes no sense and everybody is bad in it. Yeah, everybody. I did like the fact that Brendan Frasier plays two different characters, AND two different actors play the main character (one of whom is Brendan Frasier).
Netflix emailed me today that they have Season 5 of Breaking Bad. I saw all 4 seasons back when Season 4 came out on Netflix. Seems like forever ago. Oh man, I can’t wait to see what I’ve missed.

I believe so, yes. This is the first 8 episodes of Season 5 that already aired last year that’s up on Netflix now. So I can be all caught up and then wait another year to finally watch the final episodes.

Sweet! Or at least it was for the three episodes I watched before Netflix realized it was apparently a mistake, pulled season 5 back down, and told me it would be back in September.

It is a 2 week rollout. I got prompted to create profiles the first day on my PS3 and they were immediately available on the website. Unfortunately there is no Roku support. On that I still just see the viewing history on the original account. I ended up renaming that primary account to a shared family profile and created a new blank profile for myself. This means rebuilding my preferences from scratch, but my account was already so polluted by family use that is probably best.

It’s not available on the Vita yet either which is where I do a lot of my viewing. Nice to finally have it on the PS3 though.
Watched the first 5 episodes of season 5, part one yesterday. I haven’t seen a path to destruction this well laid-out since the BBC version of “The Office.” Great stuff. Violent, ruthless, cunning, but never quite as smart as they think they are.

Yup. It’s being pretty heavily hyped on AMC.
Just finished the first half of the final season. Great setup for the last few episodes.
Plus, Elsworth. who doesn’t like Elsworth?
